September 5 is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India and on
this day, everybody seeks blessings of their teachers or offers a tribute to
them in some or the other way.
But, it seems that acting guru Barry John, who is known for
training actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee, was not too thrilled
about the day yesterday. Barry openly confessed in an interview that none of
his celebrity pupils including Shah Rukh Khan ever visit him on Teacher's Day.
Barry but added that Bajpayee makes it a point to visit him on his birthday and
that he is like a family to him. Wonder what the King Khan has to say about
this now...
For those who do not know this, Teacher's Day is celebrated
on 5 September as it marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan, one of India's most distinguished 20th century scholars of
comparative religion and philosophy and our second President.
