Popular television actress Ankita Lokhande had a narrow
escape, when her room caught fire and she suffered burns on her hand and neck.
Ankita had lit some perfumed candles in her bedroom but, her
curtains caught fire and before she knew her whole bedroom was in flames and
she suffered some major burns. The actress recalls the incident as her biggest
nightmare. She had four gas cylinders in her balcony and she 'shudders' to
think what might have happened had the flames reached there.
Ankita is currently in a Mumbai hospital recovering from her
injuries and repair work is happening at her house.
