Adah Sharma reveals late actor SSR was not owner of her rented house!

Adah Sharma, star of Kerala Story, recently addressed rumors that she was planning to buy the former residence of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Located in Bandra West, Mumbai, this property is a sea-facing duplex with a 4BHK apartment and a terrace on the sixth story of the Mont Blanc building. On August 12, Adah said that she had rented the apartment instead of buying it during a function where Vikram Bhatt was showing his upcoming movies.

According to a media source, she said, “I took that flat on rent. The Rs. 378 crores earned by The Kerala Story (2023) are not mine!” She further revealed, “Even Sushant used to stay in that house on rent.”

Adah Sharma responded to a journalist's inquiry regarding her ownership of the apartment. She explained that the Rs. 378 crores from the film do not represent her earnings, clearing up any misconception over her earnings from The Kerala Story (2023). Adah added that although her mother does not work, she does assist with rent payments and prepares food for the family. Not so her grandma, who also resides in he apartment.

The actress also revealed that the apartment's owner is Mr. Lalwani, who is presently a resident of South Africa. She added that Sushant Singh Rajput had also rented the property. At this point, Adah made a humorous remark about Vikram Bhatt's empty house, seemingly hinting that she doesn't believe it to be real. Adah laughed and mentioned that she hadn't had any furniture in her last home either. Vikram said, "I don't know what that means," seeming intrigued.

Adah continued by saying that she enjoys an empty room since she loves to dance. She appreciates that the area is open and free of obstacles in her path. She decides against having furniture because she wants to maximize the available space in her gorgeous Mumbai home, where real estate is highly valued.

The Kerala Story actress appears to have rented this specific apartment more for convenience and taste than for artistic effect. The apartment had been unoccupied for three years when she made the decision to move there with her family.

In terms of her profession, Adah Sharma will play the lead in the Vikram Bhatt-directed film Tumko Meri Kasam, which also stars Ishwak Singh, Esha Deol, and Anupam Kher.

Late Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore wins Best Hindi Film Award!

As per media updates, the 67th National Film Awards were announced on Monday, March 22. Director Nitesh Tiwari’s 2019 release Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and Tahir Raj Bhasin has managed to leave a mark. Finally, the movie has managed to bag the award for Best Hindi film at the prestigious 67th National Film Awards.

For the information, the film marked the Sushant’s first association with Shraddha, Nitesh and the entire cast of the movie and had opened to rave reviews from the viewers and critics. Chhichhore was hyped to be a nostalgic journey of college and hostel days and came with a powerful message of treasuring life and not to give up under any circumstances. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial had won a lot of critical acclaim for his heart-touching storyline, direction and faultless act by the entire team.

Besides Chhicchhore, actors Kangana Ranaut and Manoj Bajpayee also managed to win the top laurels at the 67th National Film Awards this year. Recently, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021 were held in Mumbai on Saturday and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was honoured with the Critics Choice Award at the ceremony. The Kedarnath actor, who was a part of several good movies including MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore and more, passed away unfortunately at his house in Mumbai on June 14, 2020.

The Chhichhore star satrted his career from TV and rose to fame with the show, Pavitra Rishta with Ankita Lokhande. Sushant's death left everyone in a state of shock and his last film, Dil Bechara released after his demise. The late star was seen with debutante Sanjana Sanghi and Saif Ali Khan in the movie.

Pronouncing the honour, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Instagram handle posted an image of the actor and the honour that he had been bestowed with posthumously. The handle wrote, "Celebrating the dedication you've shown on the way to this achievement. Congratulations to Late @sushantsinghrajput for winning the Critic's Best Actor award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021. We miss you!"

Sushant’s fan wants to rename a Mumbai house street on late actor’s name!

On June 14, 2020, Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode at his apartment in Mumbai. Sushant’s death left everybody in a state of shock and grief. Recently, a street and a roundabout in Purnea, Bihar, Sushant’s hometown was renamed after him to honour his memory.

As per a media report in a daily, a Mumbai based family friend of the actor, Nilotpal Mrinal has approached politician Aaditya Thackeray and the BMC commissioner to rename the Bandra street where Sushant resided after him to make him a part of the city forever. As per the report, he appealed to Aaditya Thackeray and BMC chief who further directed him to the officials of the municipal ward under whose jurisdiction the area falls. The report specified that Mrinal requested that if not a street, then a roundabout or a garden could be named after him.

Nowadays, there are fresh reports about another movie that Sushant is in talks for. A  media source discloses, "Rustom director Tinu Suresh Desai has offered Sushant a big film. The filmmaker had been planning to mount the project for some time but hasn't been able to. It was then he was introduced to Sushant who he shared the idea with. It's a novel concept so it immediately caught the actor's fancy and he has given it a verbal nod as of now."

A source discloses, "It's an espionage spy thriller. It will involve a huge budget and currently, both Tinu and Sushant are taking the film to several big banners who can come on board to finance the project. But Sushant is extremely kicked about the whole film since it involves a lot of action and also has a hint of nationalism in it."

Director Abhishek Kapoor's forthcoming film Kedarnath is releasing soon. The movie stars Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan. The movie was widely shot in Uttarakhand as well as in Mumbai.

The shooting was started last year by seeking blessings at Kedarnath's Lord Shiva's temple. Lately, Abhishek took to his social media pages and shared a beautiful click of Sushant and Sara praying at Kedarnath temple. In the photograph, both are seen in a pensive mood while seeking blessings.

Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput is presently in news for all the good reasons. Earlier, it was pronounced that Sushant will essay the lead in the upcoming Bollywood remake of the famous Hollywood movie, The Fault in Our Stars.

Now, as per report in a daily, the movie kicked off lately in Jamshedpur. Debutant director Mukesh Chhabra informed to a daily, "The first shot will be taken with Sanjana, who plays Kizie, and her parents in their home."

Seemingly, the movie is named Kizie Aur Manny, after its main characters. Mukesh further clarified, "The very fact that the story revolves around cancer makes it seem heavy and intense. But we’ve turned it into a beautiful love story which plays out lightly between these two main characters. I’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible which is why we decided on this title that has the ring of a rhyme, like Bunty Aur Babli."

Speaking about choosing Jamshedpur, Mukesh revealed, "So you have a South Indian living next to a Bengali family, while a Parsi and a Bihari could be neighbours. I needed a place with a small town vibe and had heard a lot about Jamshedpur from Imtiaz (Ali) and R Madhavan. When I came here for recee, I knew instantly that this was where I wanted my love story to take root."

The Hollywood version of The Fault in Our Stars is actually an adaptation of the novel which goes by the same name. The novel is written by John Green and is a heartbreaking story about two patients, who are on the verge of dying, falling in love with each other.
