Movies getting leaked online is 'Disgusting', tells Salman Khan!

Of late many Bollywood movies have got leaked much before their release dates and Salman Khan, whose newest hit Sultan, too leaked online a day before its release date, is mighty pissed with the people who are responsible for it.

At a recent Press conference, when he was asked to comment on movies getting leaked online, Khan told, "It's disgusting. There are people who don't want to work hard. They want to capitalize on other people's hard work. The worst thing that you can do is let somebody else do the work and you take away the credit and earn money on their hard work."

The censor copies of Udta Punjab, Sultan and Great Grand Masti were available online, even before their official release.

Director Kabir Khan's next to be on 1983 Cricket World Cup victory?

Lately, Phantom Films bought the rights to make a movie on India's world cup victory in 1983 and now there is a strong news that the production house is keen to rope in director Kabir Khan to make the movie. The production house is co-owned by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.

After the biopics Azhar, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and the docu-drama Sachin- A Billion Dreams, this is the next reel life bigwig to take cricket into every home. Sources told that if everything goes according to plan, Kabir, after finishing his forthcoming with Salman Khan titled Tubelight, will start working on the cricket film early next year. According to Phantom Films, they want to recreate Indian cricket team's unforgettable journey on screen with a bevy of actors playing these pin-up idols.

Salman and Katrina's Facebook tête-à-tête is too adorable!

Katrina Kaif's entry on social media, on her birthday must have been a delight for her admirers. The pretty lady has been sharing pictures and videos of herself.

But, it must have taken everybody by surprise when Katrina received a birthday wish from someone really special, on her FB account. Any guesses who it could be?

Well it was none other than Salman Khan! Salman who is riding high with the success of his film Sultan, was one of the first to wish his ex-girlfriend on FB. He posted, "Katrina Kaif, welcome to Facebook and wish you a very happy birthday."

Katrina promptly replied saying, "Thank you Sultan."

Kareena Kapoor Khan is pregnant and will welcome her first baby, with husband Saif Ali Khan, in December. Now, that they have confirmed the rumors, Kareena too has let her guards down and was seen flaunting her baby bump recently.

Kareena visited Farhan Akhtar's estranged wife Adhuna's salon in Mumbai, on Sunday. Dressed in a casual tee and a pair of jeans, mommy-to-be looked like a million bucks. We overhear that the Omkara star will be the face of Adhuna's salon.

My dad wanted me to be a cricketer, says Salman Khan!

Megastar Salman Khan, who has given hit after hit, could have been a cricketer had he pursued the sport, at which he was good at. The 50-year-old lately disclosed that his father and legendary screenwriter Salim Khan wanted him to be a cricketer.

Salman said that he was good at cricket and former Indian cricketer Salim Durani was hired as his coach and he told his father that the actor had a bright future in the field. "My dad wanted me to play cricket. That could have happened easily but I just didn't see myself going for cricket practice at 5:30 in the morning. This life is as it is hard for me, cricket would have been very difficult," Salman told at the launch of tennis star Sania Mirza's autobiography Ace Against Odds.

The actor further added, "Salim Durani was hired to be my coach. First day, he saw me play, I played very well. Second day, I did really well so he called my father the third day and said your son has got a very bright future. That is the day I realised, my father came to see me play.. so I should play really badly."

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star told that it had been difficult for him to reach school on time, and so it was an impossible task for him to wake up early for cricket practice. According to Salman, he wanted to be a film director.

Akshay Kumar's specific lawyer look in 'Jolly LLB 2'!

We had informed earlier that Akshay Kumar will be seen playing a lawyer for the very first time in Jolly LLB 2, the sequel to Arshad Warsi-starrer Jolly LLB and Akshay Kumar shared his look from the movie on his Twitter page.

In the movie, Akshay is seen with oiled hair parted on the side and a moustache with a red tikka on his forehead, looking like a 'pakka' North Indian gentleman. The actor is also seen wearing a black suit, white shirt and a lawyer's collar. Akshay also posted, "New day with a new look for a new film, let the mayhem begin! #JollyLLB2 it is! Judgement day 10th February, 2017!" In the prequel, Arshad was seen fighting a case against Boman Irani, but the sequel will see Akshay's character locking horns withAnnu Kapoor in court.

Vicky Kaushal walks away from Bhansali's Padmavati?

Earlier, we had informed that Vicky Kaushal, who marked his Bollywood debut with Masaan, has been roped into play Deepika Padukone's husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next Padmavati but, we now overhear that the actor has walked out of the period drama.

A source has disclosed that Vicky opted out of the project because his role in the movie was very short as compared to the film's lead pair – Deepika and Ranveer Singh. But, Vicky has neither confirmed nor denied the reports, yet.

In the meantime, Kaushal is gearing up for his next Manmarziyan, in which he will share screen space with Ayushmann Khurranaand and Bhumi Pednekar.

'Veerappan' trailer will leave you spellbound!

Ram Gopal Varma, who is returning to Hindi cinema after a gap of over two years, is all set to mesmerize the viewers with his next. A few days after releasing a dark and sinister motion poster of Veerappan, the makers of the movie launched the trailer of the movie at a venue in suburban Andheri.

The trailer of Veerappan is devoid of any dialogues, but it is sure to leave you wordless with glimpses of powerful scenes, horrifying cruelty and tense background score.

The two-and-half minute trailer is racy and captivating despite having no dialogue, and promises to be a high-octane thriller. The movie stars Sandeep Bharadwaj as bandit Veerappan along with Sachiin Joshi, Lisa Ray and Usha Jadhav.

The newest film by the maverick director will capture life of the Sandalwood bandit, Veerappan. Previously, RGV had made Killing Veerappan in Kannada, which was based on the events of Operation Cocoon that directed the authorities to capture or shoot-at-sight of the bandit.

My Udta Punjab role is short, sweet and effective, says Kareena Kapoor Khan!

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who'll be playing the role of a doctor in Abhishek Chaubey's forthcoming movie Udta Punjab is proud to be associated with the film, which talks about substance abuse and she tells that though she doesn't have a long role in the movie, it's very 'effective'.

Talking about her role, Kareena told, ''I'm very honoured that Abhishek Chaubey thought of me in this role. It's a very special role. It's short and sweet but I think it's effective. I am happy that I got to work with a wonderful director and a visionary, who actually put this film on celluloid. We talk about substance abuse but a film on it, with such wonderful actors, I think Abhishek should be applauded for it.''

Hospitalized Dilip Kumar thanks fans for prayers, love and affection!

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra a few days back after he complained of respiratory issues, seems to be doing quite well now and vetran actor took to his Twitter page to reach out to his fans and followers.

  

Kumar posted, ''By God's grace feeling brighter and better. Thank you all for your prayers, love and affection.” A couple of days back, Dilip Saab's wife Saira Banu had issued a statement, which read, ''Dilip Saab was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment of high fever and chest infection. He was advised intravenous administration of antibiotics for speedy recovery. Oral drugs would not act as fast as the IV injections, the doctors advised. Hence it became necessary to shift him to the hospital. He is recovering well and is stable by the grace of God and the care of doctors treating him. He is in a room in the hospital and not in the ICU as spread by rumours."

We have heard that Dilip Kumar will be discharged from the hospital soon.

Sushant Singh Rajput lived in railway quarters for 'MS Dhoni'!

Much has been written about how Sushant Singh Rajput practiced cricket for hours and also scrutinized many cricket matches in which Mahendra Singh Dhoni had played to get his mannerisms right for his forthcoming movie MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, but what many might not know is that the actor also spent time with Dhoni's ticket collector friends to get to know more about his life before he became a cricketer.

A source attached to the movie disclosed that as Dhoni had been a ticket collector with the Indian Railways before pursuing his passion for cricket, Sushant too hung out with his colleagues from those days and also stayed with them for a few days in their railway quarters instead of at a plush hotel while researching the character. Sushant not only spent time sitting and interacting with them, but also traveled with them in trains secretly and observed their body language and their style of talking.

Approving the news, Rajput told, “Apart from undergoing hard core preparation to play cricket like Dhoni, there was a different kind of effort that went into understanding his life before he became India's Captain Cool! Three of his roommates have been of phenomenal help to me. They let me come in their work space in the trains, let me stay in the same railway quarter and also told me a lot of stories about Dhoni which helped me make my performance more nuanced. I was extremely fascinated."

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, MS Dhoni-The Untold Story is slated to release on September 2.

Salman Khan to star in Rajkumar Santoshi's next!

After blocking the dates for his next Eid release with Kabir Khan's directorial, megastar Salman Khan has apparently booked dates for Diwali 2017 as well.

Director Rajkumar Santoshi, who has worked with Salman in the 1994 cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna will direct the Salman Khan once more! News are that Salman has given a nod to the project, which will be produced by his sister and brother-in-law, Alvira and Atul Agnihotri.

The movie is expected to be ready in time to hit the cinemas on Diwali 2017. So Bhaijaan's fans can expect a Diwali dhamaka next year!

Randeep Hooda rushed to hospital after collapsing on the sets of 'Sultan'!

Randeep Hooda, who will be seen playing Salman Khan's wrestling coach in forthcoming YRF film Sultan, reportedly collapsed on the sets of the movie and had to be rushed to a hospital!

Sources reveal that the actor had been in acute pain for some time due to some issues regarding his appendicitis, but he ignored it to complete the shoot on time, which aggravated the situation. Hooda had to be rushed to the Fortis Hospital, where he will undergo surgery soon.

Randeep will be next seen in Laal Rang and Sarbjit.

Haan Main Baap Bananey Wala Hoon: Shahid Kapoor

Gossip mills have been rampant with news since quite some time that Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput are expecting their first baby and now, the actor has confirmed the news.

At the trailer launch of Udta Punjab, when Shahid was asked about it, the actor openly confessed, ''Haan main baap bananey wala hoon, kya kar lega? (Yes, I'm going to be a father soon, what will you do about it?).''

Shahid and Mira got married in July, 2015 and we hear that Mira is currently in her second trimester.

Salman Khan romances Deepika Padukone first time in their next Majdhaar!

We had informed a few days back that Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone will be next seen opposite each other for the very first time in Kabir Khan's next, which will be an action thriller and we have heard that the movie has got a title.

Seemingly, the movie has been named Majdhaar and we have also learned that Deepika has laid down a condition that she would agree to the movie only if she gets a significant role in the film. Maybe Deepika was worried that like Kareena Kapoor Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, she would not get a substantial role in her movie opposite Salman.

After Veerappan, RGV’s another based on real life don Muthappa Rai!

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's love for crime dramas and in-depth knowledge about the biggest gangsters is well known. After helming a crime trilogy—one of which is loosely based on Dawood Ibrahim, RGV is now making a movie on Bangalore-based gangster, Muthappa Rai which has been titled Rai and will star Vivek Oberoi.

Known as the ‘Godfather of Bangalore', Muthappa was involved in land mafia, extortion, etc, since the mid-80s. Though Muthappa is relatively unidentified outside Karnataka, Ramu feels the gangster's story has sheer drama and dynamism. RGV told that stories of Pablo Escobar, Dawood Ibrahim, Al Capone would be nothing in front of Muthappa's journey.

The 54-year-old director told the movie will be will be made in four languages - Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil and will be extensively shot in Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai and London.

Deepika Padukone, who is currently in Los Angeles shooting for her debut Hollywood movie XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage, is extremely fond of Indian beverages like tea and filter coffee and she makes sure that she takes sufficient supplies with her whenever she's travelling.

Deepika has been a fan of filter coffees since her childhood and she got hooked on to tea, when she shifted to Mumbai. Deepika needs her daily beverage fix, she took her supply of coffee and tea with her to LA. She lately ran out of her supplies but she restocked it during her brief stay in Mumbai and carried it back to LA with her.

The actor was hell bent on getting every bit of Dhoni the right way and made sure that he has seen every match in which the Indian skipper has played. Sushant even caught up on cricket matches while traveling. In fact, he also made sure to watch matches at the stadium, whenever he could.''

The trailer of forthcoming movie Udta Punjab, which revolves around drug abuse in Punjab, has mesmerized everybody and Shahid Kapoor, who plays a rock star addicted to drugs, claims that he had a tough time playing the character of Tommy Singh.

Explaining on the same, Shahid told that Tommy Singh is a very eccentric and loud character and as Shahid is not like that at all in his personal life, he had to work a lot on his performance and body language. Shahid also added that though he worked out for the role, he did not want a physique like that of a bodybuilder's but rather wanted to look like someone who is into substance abuse.
