Fashion diva Sonam Kapoor has
been enjoying some free time recently with her friends and family. The actress,
who was last seen in the much-admired Neerja, is going to host a charity
gala dinner tonight.
A fund raiser event, the dinner is organized today in
association with Cuddles Foundation and will be held in Mumbai.
When enquired about it Sonam confirmed and shared, "We
end up taking things that come easy to us for granted, including the food we
eat .When I learnt about the work Cuddles is doing, it made me realize how
important correct nutrition is during cancer treatment. This dinner, I hope
will shed light on all their work at the Foundation and also raise funds for
these little fighters."
On the film front, Sonam will begin shooting for Veere
Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
The film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh and will hopefully roll out in May
2017. Sonam is also shooting for Padman with Akshay Kumar which
is directed by R. Balki and is produced by Twinkle Khanna's Mrs. Funnybones
Movies. The film has already gone on-floors in Indore but Sonam is yet to begin
shooting for the film.
Fascinatingly, Sonam Kapoor will also be seen in Sanjay
Dutt's biopic which has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Sonam, who is
reuniting with Ranbir after 10 years, plays his love interest in the movie
which is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is scheduled to release in
December 2017 along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger
Zinda Hai.
