Gorgeous Deepika Padukone is
a busy woman. Travelling between Los Angeles and India is her thing. Lately,
Deepika Padukone attended the CNBC ‘India Business Leader Awards’ in New Delhi.
As this was the 12thedition of the awards, the ceremony was presided over by
the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
The ‘India Business Leader Awards’ are measured a benchmark
when it comes to recognizing the top leaders in India’s business ecosystem and
it felicitates the visionaries who have led India’s glorious journey from the
front, setting new standards in terms of growth, scale and market leadership.
When it comes to Deepika, she not only aces her airport
looks, but makes sure that her sartorial game is always on point. Making a classy
entry at the awards was Deepika Padukone who looked beautiful in her Indian
look. Wearing a floral saree by designer Sabyasachi, Deepika looked
every inch a diva. Deepika Padukone was honored with the ‘Entertainment Leader
of the Year’ award and she received the award from the Finance Minister and
Harsimrat Kaur Badal (Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing in the
Government of India).
Presently, Deepika is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela
Bhansali’s Indian period drama, Padmavati, which also stars Ranveer
Singh and Shahid Kapoor. After Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted on
the sets of Padmavati in Jaipur, the shooting of the film was stalled
but the shooting will commence, soon.
