Dolly Parton is a global superstar, but she remains a
country girl at heart.
That’s why the music legend vowed to help those who lost
everything in wildfires that swept through East Tennessee last year. Dolly
immediately set up a charitable fund with a goal to providing $1,000 a month
for six months to families whose homes were destroyed. And thanks to help from
both regular folks and her famous friends, Dolly just sent out 921 checks. The
fund is still going, so make sure to check out how you can help too.
