Superstar Akshay Kumar has a packed 2017 and 2018 workwise.
While his film Jolly LLB 2 crossed the INR 100 crore mark, he has
already finished shooting for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha with Bhumi
Pednekar. He has now started shooting for PadMan which also stars Sonam
Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Akshay also has the biopic Gold which
is based on Olympic medalist Balbir Singh and Mogul which is based on
T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar.
But the project which excites us the most is his association
with Salman Khan and Karan Johar. Akshay will be starring in a
movie which will be co-produced by Salman and Karan.
When questioned about working with Salman, Akshay said a famous
tabloid, "Each and every partnership with Salman, over the years, has been
epic in every way. This film will be no different. We have the utmost respect
for each other's time and talent. Plus, the subject of this film has all of us
excited, something I'm truly waiting to start."
Akshay has before specified that one must be a producer's
actor. But in a day and age where young actors are entering the industry almost
every day when the daily asked Akshay on whether it is not possible to be a
producer's actor, Akshay answered, "Like all things in life, give them
(the actors) time and they will learn. It's surprising how many people enter
this industry with a chip on their shoulders, but I am never afraid because
life will teach them very quickly. If they want work, they better be a
producer's actor. Regardless of how great anyone's last film may have been, the
second anyone becomes a pain in the a**, the less you'll see of them. When they
start to struggle, no one will want to work with them."
