With all his movies raking in big moolah, it does not come
as an astonishment to us that Salman Khan tops the list of top
advance tax-payers in Hindi Film Industry. According reports shared by the IT
department, Bhai has paid an advance tax of Rs. 44.5 crore for the fiscal year
2016-17 as against Rs. 32.2 crore paid last year. The difference in figures
clearly shows an income growth of 39 per cent over the last one year.
The second highest tax payer is none other than the Khiladi, Akshay
Kumar. Even with a series of hits in 2016, the actor’s income has seen a minor
drop. Akshay paid an advance tax of Rs. 29.5 crore as opposed to Rs. 30 crore
in the last fiscal.
Next in line is Hrithik Roshan with an advance tax
payment of Rs. 25.5 crore. The last financial year saw the actor paying Rs. 14
crore, which clearly means that his income graph has seen a positive growth.
Comedian Kapil Sharma has also made a place in this list of top
taxpayers, securing the fourth place. Kapil has paid an advance tax
of Rs. 23.9 crore, way more than Rs. 7 crore in the last fiscal. The number specifies
that Kapil Sharma's personal income has taken a leap of almost 206 per cent in
the last one year.
Coming to talk about Mr. Perfectionist, the actor’s advance
tax payment figures surprise us! Aamir Khan has paid a total advance
tax of Rs 14.8 crore this fiscal, growing by 54 percent from Rs 9.6 crore in
the last financial year. The IT department, but, is surprised with Aamir's low
figures, considering that his last release 'Dangal' made huge profits at the
box-office.
The list also includes the names of biggies like Ranbir
Kapoor, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, etc. to name
a few.
