Musicals are in again thanks to La La Land, and their
popularity has been enough to convince Shawn Mendes that it’s time to hit the
big screen!
The Canadian singer behind hits like Stiches and Treat You
Better has signed Ivan Reitman's original musical Summer of Love. The movie
will be set during the summer of 1967, when a group of 100,000 people, mostly
made up of young hippies, converged in San Francisco to oppose the Vietnam War.
I think that’s a story that needs to be told in this day and age.
