Lately, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Kapoor were clicked outside
filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s office which led to the rumors of them teaming
up for a project. Furthermore, Sara Ali Khan was also snapped fuelling the
rumours of her being a part of the movie.
As per reports in a tabloid, the film is based on the three
battles which were fought between the 16th and 18th centuries. Speaking about
it, a source specified to the tabloid, "Before the young actress paid Ashu
a visit, the latter had dropped by on his good friend Abhishek Kapoor. He saw
some rushes of the love story, Kedarnath, which features Sushant Singh Rajput
and Sara. The Jodhaa Akbar director came away mighty impressed with her screen
presence and performance. So, he wants to cast her in his own movie."
Ashutosh's last movie was also a historical based Mohenjo
Daro that starred Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The movie
was a dud at the box office.
