Varun has no airs about being a star kid, reveals Tapsee Pannu!

Actress Taapsee Pannu is currently gearing up for her forthcoming release, Judwaa 2, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The film which is being directed by David Dhawan is the sequel to the 1997 comedy movie Judwaa which then starred Salman Khan, KarismaKapoor and Rambha.

When Taapsee was questioned about Varun by a famous tabloid, Taapsee specified that although Varun is a star kid he still has to work just as hard. The actress disclosed, "I made my Hindi film debut with Chashme Baddoor (2013), which was directed by David sir (Dhawan; director). I met Varun then as he would drop in on the sets sometimes but now after working with him in Judwaa 2, I have realized that he is the most easy-going, chilled out person in the world. He has no airs about being a star kid. In fact, since his father is the captain of our ship, he has to work even harder. David sir, of course, knows me, so I had a great time on the sets."

In an interview, Taapsee got candid about Varun and how he is as a person. Taapsee told, "He is as warm, humble and fun as a person as people think he is. It's not like he is a different person otherwise. He definitely goes out of the way to be nice to people. All the love and attention that people shower at him, he's worth it. Because he is genuinely that humble and endearing as a person. Of course the energy was there...I was working with someone my age. That energy is different when you work on set with someone who is your age. For both of us, it was our second movie with David Dhawan so we were on the same page."

She further added, "One thing that I do take back from Varun is the PR skills. He has some amazing PR skills (laughs)."

In the meantime, Judwaa 2 is scheduled to release on September 29. 2017.
