Ranveer Singh is all about playing characters based on real
people these days.
He’s signed on to play Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati, and a
rapper from the streets in Gully Boy, which is inspired by the musicians Naezy
and Divine. Now Ranveer might also play one of our most beloved sporting heroes
in Kabir Khan’s film about India’s win at the 1983 cricket World Cup. If all
goes to plan then the actor will star as Kapil Dev, who led us to the trophy. I
can already predict that this one will hit a six at the box office!
