Bollywood star Sayani Gupta has proven her flexibility by
doing different kind of movies. The actress, who was last seen in Akshay
Kumar's Jolly LLB 2, is all set to surprise you with her
transformation into a cute 14-year-old girl for Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina
Kaif's Jagga Jasoos.
In the movie, Sayani will be seen playing a school girl. We
got our hands on her first look and are pleasantly surprised with it. She is
seen sporting short hair, two pony tails while being dressed in a skirt, a
yellow shirt and a coloured sweater, giving you the feel of a school uniform.
Given that she impressed all with her last act where she
played a deglamourized pregnant woman demanding justice, we wonder what this
lovely actress has in store for us this time.
Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Disney, Jagga
Jasoos is slated to release sometime this year. Firstly, the movie was to
release in 2014 but got constantly delayed. Recently, when the makers of Jagga
Jasoos unveiled its trailer in December, it was lauded by all. People
appreciated Ranbir and Katrina's silence romance and the VFX. It was then
announced that the movie will release on April 7, 2017. But now it looks like,
that movie isn't going to release anytime soon.
In the meantime, apart from Jagga Jasoos, Sayani Gupta
is reportedly also gearing up for her next film, which is Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka
Sharma's yet to be titled film. The movie is being directed by Imtiaz Ali and
is slated to release onAugust 11, 2017.
