In a tear-jerking turn of events, it has been informed that
famous South Indian actress and politician Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Kapoor has
passed away yesterday. While the police haven’t yet revealed any details, it is
said that he has committed suicide under mysterious circumstances.
Kapoor, 58, was a producer and was found dead in his Mumbai
office on March 14. As per a initial probe, he is believed to have died at
around 2 pm but the news broke out only hours after the actual death.
Upon knowing the tragedy, wife Jayasudha and their two sons
have rushed to Mumbai.
Rumours are that Kapoor was suffering from depression
and had also been undergoing a psychotic treatment for the same from the past
one-and-half-years. He was living at his sister’s house when he took this
life-threatening step.
Seemingly, he had also tried to commit suicide in the past
as well. Though financial issues are said to have been the reason behind the
depression, nothing concrete has been ascertained as of now.
Kapoor is also the cousin of veteran actor Jeetendra and is
survived by his wife Jayasudha and sons-Nihar and Shreayan.
He wedded Jayasudha in 1985 and has majorly worked in the
Telugu cinema.
Talking about his relationship with his wife of 30 years,
Kapoor had told a famous daily, “We were good friends with no sparks flying.
Our exciting story actually began when I started travelling between
Mumbai and Chennai. That was when we felt a void in our lives and started
missing each other.”
