Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and his nasty Twitter ways are
known to all. The director has time and again landed into trouble for his
offensive tirades on social media. RGV has now come under fire for his
controversial tweet on International Women’s Day.
As the world celebrated the true spirit of womanhood, RGV
took to his Twitter account and posted, “I wish all the women in the world give
as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.”
In the outcome of which the Twitterati gave it back to him instantly
and even went on to suggest that he must say these to his mother and daughters
as well.
And now if a famous news agency is to be believed, a
complaint has been registered against the 54-year-old director over his sexist
tweet.
The case has been filed by an activist, Vishaka Mhambre, in
Goa.
The news agency posted, “Complaint filed against Director
Ramgopal Verma by activist Vishaka Mhambre in Goa over his tweet on women
#womensday.”
But, clearly unaffected by it, RGV termed the complaint as
an overreaction and responded by telling, “Filing counter against Over Activist
wid 212 followers which wud b her family n friends, for disrespecting 18 lakh
followers of @SunnyLeone.”
The director also addressed the trollers and posted, “Only
God nd Social media numbers r true judges nd who disagree shud check no, of
@SunnyLeone followers with their own numbers b4 they tweet.”
He also posted, “My mom, sister, daughter and my grandmother
mainly respect me for my honesty in openly expressing my respect towards
@SunnyLeone 's honesty.”
