Sonam Kapoor unveils her brother's look from the film Mirziya!

Sonam Kapoor's brother Harshvardhan Kapoor will make his acting debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's forthcoming movie Mirziya and though Kapoor Jr's look from the film was not unveiled in the teaser, doting sister Sonam Kapoor did the honours on her Twitter page.

Sonam took to her Twitter page to unveil her brother's look from the film and wrote, ''Introducing @harshvardhankapoor ! #mirzya Kya baat hain bhai!!'' Reportedly, Mirziya, which is a contemporary take on Mirza-Sahiba's tragic love story, also marks the acting debut of Saiyami Kher and has been mostly shot in Ladakh and Rajasthan.

Mirziya is slated to release on October 7 this year and interestingly, the movie marks Mehra's first ever love story as in the past, he has mostly made dramatic films like Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6 and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Richa Chadda’s oomph factor in her latest ‘Cabaret’ song ‘Paani paani’!

After tempting the viewers with their sensual new poster, the makers of Richa Chadda starrer Cabaret have unveiled the first song of their much-talked about film titled Paani Paani.

The song’s video features the film’s leading Lady Richa Chadda, dancing like a dream to the sensuous beats. Richa is seen soaring the temperature like never before as she gets totally drenched in water and grease. The sultry actress is looking unquestionably gorgeous in the dance number and we are totally captivated by her ‘dirty’ dance.

Richa entices the viewers as she flirtatiously rubs the grease against her skin and intrigues them with her sexy black Venetian eye mask. The director of the movie Kaustav Narayan Niyogi has not only composed the music but has also penned the lyrics of the song, which has been crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Karan Singh Grover's mom has finally put her stamp of approval on his son's relationship with Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu, the celebrity couple is ready to tie the knot.

If rumors are to be believed, then the duo is all set to exchange wedding vows on April 29. The duo has been dating each other for two years now but, they have never spoken about their relationship in public.

We hear that a mehandi ceremony will be held on April 28 at Villa 69, a lounge bar in Juhu, Mumbai. Since Bipasha is a Bengali, they will have a Bengali-style wedding in the morning at the Bengali beauty's Khar residence on April 29, which will attended by the couple's family and close friends.

Richa gifted a toy tractor to director Omung Kumar!

Richa Chadda, who will be seen playing a key role in Omung Kumar's forthcoming movie Sarbjit, gave a special gift to Kumar when the shooting of the movie wrapped up.

As the film has been mostly shot in rural Punjab, Richa gifted a toy tractor to Kumar, who was reasonably amused by the gesture. Confirming the same, Richa told, ''I was driving back from the location and spotted a tiny shop in the village selling local toys. We had just finished shooting an important tractor scene. A tractor also embodied the spirit of the Punjab farmer... I wanted Omung to remember the film and me. That's why I picked up this unusual present."

'Ki & Ka' is not about women empowerment, says Kareena Kapoor Khan

The trailer of R. Balki's forthcoming movie Ki & Ka featured Kareena Kapoor Khan playing a career-oriented woman with Arjun Kapoor playing her progressive husband, who chooses to take care of the house.

But, despite this, Kareena claims that the movie is not at all about women empowerment. During a media interaction, Kareena told that Ki & Ka is not trying to bring forth a revolution and added that it is just a movie about how society reacts to choices made by men and women and how such choices should be respected.

Directed by R. Balki, Ki & Ka is slated to release this weekend.

Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha team up for 'Tum Bin 2' with new starcast!

Previously, Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha had teamed up for Tum Bin, a movie starring Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik, and Raqesh Vashisth, which went on to become a hit at the box-office and the twosome is coming together once again after 15 years for Tum Bin 2.

Starring Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati who will be make his debut with the movie, Tum Bin 2 will be completely shot in Scotland in the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh and will go on floors from April 4, 2016. Written and directed by Sinha, Tum Bin 2 will have music composed by Ankit Tiwari and lyrics by Manoj Muntashir.

Tum Bin 2 will hit the silver screen on 18th November 2016.

At a lates held event, when asked to name women who inspire her, she told, ''I have been inspired by many women but there are three women whose name I can mention – Serena Williams, Sheryl Sandberg and Indira Gandhi. Primarily because these women have left amazing marks in their areas of work, which were initially dominated by men. So I think these women are very inspirational to us.''

Amitji along with Jayaji forced me for writing 'Ki & Ka': R. Balki

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Balki have made three movies together as Cheeni Kum, Paa and Shamitabh. First two were successful, third was not. But, that didn't impact the personal as well as professional relationship between the two men. Instead, it was Amitabh himself who pegged Balki to go ahead and begin his fourth movie pronto.

"I did ponder for a while over Shamitabh. However Amitji along with Jayaji forced me to go ahead and kick-start my next. They told me that there was no point sitting and analyzing about what happened with Shamitabh. My producer Anil Naidu joined them as well. Together, they made sure that I begin to write pronto," discloses Balki.

As the germ of an idea that of a married couple with a role reversal of sorts came in it turned out to be a happy narrative experience for the filmmaker.

"When people complimented me for my work (in Paa - 2009), it took me six years to return with my next (Shamitabh - 2015). Now if I started thinking too much about criticism, it would have taken me 10 years," giggles Balki, "So I just went ahead and put together Ki & Ka. I met Kareena and Arjun and soon we were ready to hit the sets."

In the meantime, he made sure that the Bachchan connection stayed on for his movie, despite the new 'jodi' of the two Kapoors.

Balki further reveals, "I said to Amitji that since he and Jayaji had forced me to write the film, they now had to be a part of Ki & Ka. They feature in a very special appearance. You would see that eventually, they are in the center of the narrative."

Still, considering the fact that the three movies so far revolved completely around Amitabh Bachchan, didn't Balki miss the legend's presence for a large part of Ki & Ka shoot?

"Well, if you ask me about missing him then I miss him all the time. It is not just on the sets but when I am in my car or even at home. However, you adjust to that and move on. That said, I am sure you would love what you see of him in the film," promises Balki.

We would indeed once the movie releases all over on 1st April.

A biopic in John Abraham’s mind for his next!

Actor-producer John Abraham has never starred in a biopic yet, but it seems that the bollywood hunk might soon sign the dotted line for a biopic on the life of Premchand Degra, a professional bodybuilder.

We heard that lately while on a flight, Abraham found himself seated next to Harnil Degra, the son of Premchand Degra and the two started talking about fitness and working out when Harnil told John about his father and also disclosed that he will be writing a script for a biopic on his father. John expressed his interest in the project and asked Harnil to share the script with him as and when it is ready.

For those who do not know this, Premchand, a resident of Punjab, won the Mr. Universe title in the 80 kg category in 1988. He was also awarded the Achievement Medal by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness in 2003 and the Padma Shri in 1990.

Well-known filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and John Abraham had teamed up for the first time in 2007 to make a movie named No Smoking, which was a disaster at the box-office, but has developed a cult status over the years because of its Kafkaesque plot.

Abraham, who is gearing up for the release of his next movie Rocky Handsome, lately told in an interview that though No Smoking did not work at the box-office, he is still proud of that film and keeps telling Kashyap to make a sequel to it. Abraham quipped that he keeps teasing Kashyap by saying that unlike others who make sequels of hits, they should make a sequel of a flop.

No awkward moments between Kareena and Arjun during 'Ki & Ka' shoot!

"Well, there was no moment of awkwardness whatsoever," tells Arjun, who has known Kareena for last so many years now, "The film is centered entirely on Kabir and Kia, and hence it was imperative that we get into the right frame of mind. What worked in favor of both of us as well as the film was that we were both very excited about the idea that Balki sir had, as well as the parts that we play."

"Because we were in the right frame of mind, the entire shooting experience was a lot of fun. We were comfortable with each other and a lot relaxed. All of that helped," he reveals further.

Both Kareena Kapoor Khan as well as her elder sister Karisma Kapoor have worked with Arjun's father Boney Kapoor in number of films.

"Yes, Kareena and I have known each other for so long; we understand each other's thinking. Since we are playing a married couple in the film, our mutual comfort had to show on screen too. Earlier lovers Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, who took the nation by storm with their smash hit Aashiqui 2, will be seen romancing each other in OK Jaanu and the duo lately went on a bike ride for a sequence of the film.

They shot for the sequence at Mumbai's famous Marine Drive and looked quite comfortable in each other's company.

Randeep Hooda’s weight drops 18kg in a month under medical guidance for Sarbjit!

Generally, actors, who have to lose weight significantly take months to achieve the desired look but Randeep Hooda, who plays the hero in Omung Kumar's next Sarbjit, took just a month to lose 18 kilos for a few sequences of the movie.

Randeep had a month to transform himself from a hunk to a starving man confined in a small prison cell. His diet was closely looked by his sister Dr Anjali Hooda-Sangwan, an Obesity, Metabolic Medicine and Clinical Nutrition Specialist who put him on a very low calorie diet of proteins and greens with a few cheat days when he could have some starch depending on his activity levels. The diet allowed him between 500-600 calories every day, but varied depending on weight, hydration levels, vitamin deficiency and his body's reaction to the food intake.

Sarbjit is based on the life of Sarbjit Singh, an Indian farmer, who was convicted on grounds of espionage by the Pakistani government. Apart from Hooda, the film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda.

Big B to star in Hindi remake of Bengali film Belasheshe!

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who had taken to his blog months back to gush about Bengali movie Belasheshe, a mature romance between an elderly couple, might soon star in the Bollywood remake of the movie.

Sources reveal that Mahesh Bhatt has acquired the remake rights to the movie and that he wants the Big B to star in the remake. If Bachchan dos give his nod, this will be the first time that the veteran star will work with the Bhatt camp. The original film had starred Soumitra Chatterjee as the protagonist opposite Swatilekha Sengupta.

But, Rai lately verified that the King Khan will indeed play the protagonist in his movie, which is a love story set in a small town in North India. Action scenes in ‘Rocky Handsome’ are my item numbers, says John Abraham!

John Abraham has as many as 8 'item numbers' in Rocky Handsome. No, these are not one of the many hit songs that he has been a part of over the years. Neither is he getting jiggy with another 'Laila' outing alongside a hot-bod. Instead, he is appearing in as many as 8 'cool & sexy' action sequences, which are being proudly referred to as his 'item numbers' no less.

"That's correct," verifies producer Sunir Kheterpal of Azure Entertainment, "The original Korean film too was abound with action. However, when we decided to adapt it as per Indian milieu, we made sure that John Abraham as a star stood out as well. He has a loyal audience that has been following his action ever since the days of Dhoom. They expect something different from him each time around. Hence, for Rocky Handsome, we made sure that each of these 8 action sequences was different from the other. They had to have that special 'tadka' in there which made on look forward to the next serving."

For John, it was one challenge that he loved to pick up, courtesy his 13 years in the industry that has seen him enact quite a few action packed roles.

But, with his subsequent movies like Race 2, Shootout at Wadala and Madras Cafe, there was added variety that started coming in, something that made John take it all to the next level with Rocky Handsome.

"Well, the idea is to keep moving ahead, otherwise what's the point. See, when you say action, you typically associate it with blood and gore. That is not the case here. The action star Jackie Chan will be visiting India in March to shoot for his forthcoming Indo-Chinese movie Kung Fu Yog', which also stars Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur.

News has it that Chan will be staying in Jaipur and will be here for 15 days. A schedule of the movie has been wrapped up and now the cast and crew is gearing up for the Indian shoot. Post that the team will head for Beijing.

The co-production treaty, which is anticipated to transform relations between the two nations on a film-making level, was signed in September 2014. India’s Viacom18 Motion Pictures India and China’s Taihe Entertainment Corp and Shinework Media are working together on the project.

The agreement is likely to prove a boon for the Indian film industry, which has struggled to get its movies into China. The world’s most populous nation operates a strict quota system of 34 movies per year for foreign fare, and Indian films are often crowded out by better-known Hollywood products. Officially sanctioned co-productions with Chinese film companies are usually allowed to circumvent the quota. Chan’s films are hugely popular in India, so China also looks likely to gain from the deal.

Kung Fu Yoga is scheduled to release this October.

Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh to release in Hindi!

Sardaar Gabbar Singh pretty much signifies that the movie carries a pan-India appeal. For South megastar Pawan Kalyan, there couldn't have been a better movie to enter the North India market as the very title supports his journey. Furthermore, the 'masala' flavor of the movie further does the trick.

You have all the cultures merging seamlessly here."

No wonder, makers of the movie - Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Northstar Entertainment - have been more than glad to associate with Eros, who have been enjoying some wonderful times at the Box Office. While the company is happy to pitch Sardaar Gabbar Singh in a picture perfect manner, Pawan is glad that the movie is seeing a well-planned release.

Pawan reveals, "Sardaar Gabbar Singh has a universal story with a sensibility that should appeal to audiences pan India. Film making cannot be confined to a certain area or demographics and our film attempts a unique connect with India, especially the Hindi belt."

The results would be known on 8th April once the movie releases all over in Telugu as well as Hindi.

Donnie boy seems to be totally smitten by Deepika!

Actress Deepika Padukone seems to have the ability of making friends wherever she goes. This time Deepika may have just found a new fan in none other than the international kung fu star - Donnie Yen.

Yen is considered to be one of Hong Kong's top action stars and is seemingly playing the lead villain in the forthcoming action movie XXX - The Return of Xander Cage. The movie also marks Padukone's Hollywood debut. Donnie boy seems to be totally smitten by Deepika and posted a picture of both of them on his Instagram page.

Akshay Kumar, who has always spoken his contempt for film award events, lately made us laugh with his statement on what made him agree to play the antagonist in forthcoming South film Robot 2, which stars South megastar Rajinikanth.

When asked as to what made him give his nod to the negative role in Robot 2, the Akshay joked with a wicked chuckle that there is no lobbying when it comes to awards for negative roles, which is what tempted him to do the movie. Seemingly, Akshay will play an android, who clashes with Rajinikanth's character.

Madhur Bhandarkar asks for legal action against the makers of ‘Chandni Bar 2 Ruby Bar’!

Actress Rakhi Sawant will be next seen in forthcoming movie Chandni Bar 2 Ruby Bar, which is also being referred to as Chandni Bar 2 and it seems that Madhur Bhandarkar, who had helmed the critically acclaimed Chandni Bar way back in 2001, is not at all amused by the choice of the film's title.

Bhandarkar was quoted telling that he has the title rights to Chandni Bar and that the makers of Rakhi Sawant's forthcoming movie are cashing in on the title to sell their movie, which is not acceptable to him. Bhandarkar added that he is in talks with Amit Mohan, the producer of Chandni Bar and that they are planning legal action in this matter.

Sanjay Dutt, who walked out of prison last month after serving his sentence in the Arms Act case related to the 1993 bomb blasts tragedy, shared some details about his forthcoming projects.

Apart from an action thriller with Siddharth Anand, Sanjay will also work in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next and Sanjay Dutt disclosed that the movie will revolve around a father-daughter relationship. Sanjay also added that he has decided to stop acting in movies as a favour to friends and that he will focus on quality cinema from now onwards.

Sanjay is also likely to appear in a cameo in his biopic, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani and star Ranbir Kapoor.

Akshay's debut South film is Vishnu Vijaya, not 'Robot 2'!

Akshay Kumar, who had played a negative role in Ajnabee years back, will be seen playing a baddie in Robot 2, which stars South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. But, you would be astonished to know that Robot 2 is not Akshay's first South movie!

In a latest interview, the Khiladi disclosed that before becoming a mainstream Bollywood actor, he had starred in a Kannada cop drama named Vishnu Vijaya, which had also starred South star Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Ashwini Bhave and Pankaj Dheer. The movie was made both in Hindi and Kannada and though the Hindi version, which was titled Ashaant was a major flop, the Kannada version was a super-hit.

Shraddha Kapoor lends melodious voice for 'Baaghi'!

Actress Shraddha Kapoor seems to be a lady with many talents. Besides acting, singing seems to be her forte. The 27-year old actress has given her voice for a new song from her forthcoming movie Baaghi.

Shraddha had previously sung tracks like Galiyan from Ek Villain and Bezubaan Phir Se from ABCD 2. For Baaghi, the actress has crooned to a song titled Sab Tera. The song, which has just been released, is composed by Amaal Mallik, who is also the co-singer of the track.

Seemingly, it was on director Sabbir Khan's encouragement, which led to Shraddha singing the song which has an extremely high pitch making it a tough song to sing. The track features Shraddha and Tiger Shroff romancing on visually appealing locations of Krabi, Thailand. 

The trailer of the movie has already created ripples and anticipation with its stunning action sequences.

Salman breaks no-night shift rule for 'Sultan'!

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, who will be next seen playing a Haryanvi wrestler in YRF film Sultan, is going out of his way for the shooting schedule, we hear.

We had recently informed that the Bhaijaan has seemingly kicked the bottle for the duration of the shoot and we have now learned that Salman has also broken his 'no night shifts' rule for the movie. For those who do not know this, Salman doesn't like to shoot at nights, but for Sultan, Salman has done away with this rule so that the shooting gets wrapped up on time.

Sources claim that Javed is planning to make a comeback with a story about the plight of farmers and how their situation affects people living in metropolitan areas. Approving the news, Javed said that he will tell the story from an urban perspective.
