Aamir Khan will play a tapori in YRF's next Thug instead of Hrithik!

Hrithik Roshan, who was firstly slated to play the lead role in forthcoming YRF movie Thug, seemingly walked out of the movie after the script underwent major changes and now, we overhear that Aamir Khan has been signed up to play the lead role in the movie.

This is Aamir's second movie with YRF after Dhoom 3 and we have overheard that Aamir will be seen playing a character similar to the one he had played in Ram Gopal Varma's Rangeela. Now, this has certainly confused us as Thug was supposed to be a period movie on the lines of The Pirates Of The Carribbean and Aamir had played a street-smart tapori in Rangeela. We surprise if the makers have totally changed the story of the movie.

Big B is now THUG for YRF?

Hrithik Roshan has given his nod to YRF film Thug, which is seemingly on the lines of the Pirates Of The Caribbean series and will have Hrithik playing a character similar to Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

But, a little birdie claims that Hrithik is not the only A-lister attached to this film and that Amitabh Bachchan too has been approached for an important role in the film. A source said that though the Big B will not be seen in a lengthy role, his character will be quite pivotal to the plot.

Thug will be helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, which is known for his high-octane Dhoom series.
