Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who had taken to his
blog months back to gush about Bengali movie Belasheshe, a mature romance
between an elderly couple, might soon star in the Bollywood remake of the movie.
Sources reveal that Mahesh Bhatt has acquired the remake
rights to the movie and that he wants the Big B to star in the remake. If
Bachchan dos give his nod, this will be the first time that the veteran star
will work with the Bhatt camp. The original film had starred Soumitra
Chatterjee as the protagonist opposite Swatilekha Sengupta.
Bachchan will be next seen in TE3N and Pink.
