Sunny Leone to dangle midway at a shoot!

Recently, Sunny Leone was literally left dangling midway at a shoot. In an Instagram video clip that she shared, Sunny is seen strapped to cable and attempting a stunt that requires her to fall vertically on a co-actor lying on the ground. The cable-aided drop just stops short of Sunny crashing into the man, at which point Sunny is supposed to say her lines.

In the clip, she is seen suspended in the air rather indecisively, when the director prompts her to say her dialogue. She begins mouthing her lines, only to forget them midway.

"Aata majhi satakli…" Sunny wrote as caption with the tags #SunnyLeone, #bts and #OnSets, though she did not share what project she was shooting for.

Tinsel town’s North American import has signed a Broadway-style musical called Abhimanyu, which is the brainchild of the choreographer Sandeep Mahavir. The stage show that combines hip hop and kathak genres has already been running for a few years, and Sunny will join the production for a new series of shows that will kick off in Ahmedabad and then travel to a few destinations around the world. Sunny Leone to talk about her Bollywood struggle!

Well-known actress Sunny Leone began her Bollywood career with just an item number, and now, the diva has come a long way and has made her presence felt with her charm. Sunny stepped into Bollywood with Jism 2, and since then, there was no looking back. Sunny has had her own set of struggles and it wasn’t really a cakewalk for her. “I don’t have a lot of people guiding me. What I found in the industry is that there is a lot of ‘yes ma’am’. People tell you that this will be a great opportunity, but then, if it does not happen, then everybody goes like ‘I told you not to do it and it was wrong.’ People do a lot of that here”, revealed Sunny.

Sunny Leone starrer Veeramadevi to face protests like Padmaavat!

Sunny Leone is in news nowadays due to her next film Veeramadevi. Recently, Pro-Kannada activists protested against the casting of Sunny Leone in a multi-lingual movie Veeramadevi. Kannada Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene alleged that casting Sunny in the movie was an insult to a historical figure and warned of a Padmaavat like protest if she was not replaced. 

The group’s youth wing president R Harish told it was not right to have Sunny Leone essay a historical character, who had supported the cause of Hindus. “Leone is popular as a porn star and such a person should not play a historical character, who is not only an icon of Kannada but also someone who built many temples,” he told. He further added that Veeramadevi had built many temples in Karnataka and it would hurt religious sentiments of people if Sunny played the role. The activists have also vowed that they will create issues in the show in Bengaluru on November 3.

Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is showing her life and story in the web series Karenjit Kaur. The actress is getting a good response for the show. She is essaying herself in the series.

In a media chat with a daily, Sunny was questioned about her experience of shooting for her biopic. When questioned what made her act in her own biopic, she responded, "Shareen Mantri from Nammah Films and Daniel [Weber], my husband, came to me with this idea. After my last experience with a documentary, [Mostly Sunny on Netflix], I was not keen on doing anything. Shareen expressed her motive behind telling my story and the route she hoped to take. Something clicked. I wanted people to see a human story, which is probably not what they were expecting me to showcase."

Sunny was questioned whether it was tough for her to relive her past and she revealed, "It was beyond difficult to shoot this series. I can't even begin to express what I was feeling. The second season broke my spirit and I'm still trying to heal. I was objectively viewing my life and seeing the other side of the coin brought me to tears. I know my story and the choices I made, but I was not mentally aware of how it affected my family and the other people in my life. I think, that realisation hurt."

Many people think that Sunny Leone has made a biopic on her life to whitewash her image. When she was asked about the same, she specified, "I don't know what people are talking about. My intention was to show the true story. The series is for fans who have always been by my side. I want them to understand that I am just like them."

We have no plans for another baby right now, tells Sunny Leone!

Bollywood actress Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber embraced parenthood when they adopted a baby girl named Nisha in July 2017. Sunny and Daniel keep on posting her loveable photographs on their social media accounts.

Sunny and Daniel were snapped at Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch event. During an interview with us, Sunny talked about her little daughter, Nisha.

When questioned how was celebrating New Year with Nisha, Sunny told, ‘’I mean she is two. I don’t know, we believe in her being on a really nice sleep schedule and she had a great time on her first New Year.’’

“I think that’s what was most important to me spending that first day of the year with the three of us together and yes we had fun. We played games and we had fun which is really really important to me and Daniel,’’ she further added.

When questioned if they are planning for another child, Sunny told, “(Laughs) I am not pregnant right now. Let’s just say that. There is no correct word at all. We have no plans right now.’’

Sunny Leone’s no for Bengaluru's New Year party!

Bollywood actress Sunny Leone recently told that she will not attend the New Year party in the city after the police denied permission to the organisers.

"Since the police of Bengaluru have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine, and all who attend, safety for my New Years event, my team and I feel, safety of the people should always come first. Therefore, I cannot attend. God bless and I wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year," Sunny posted.

She later revealed, "To all those who protested and to all those who supported, always remember, never allow others to speak and choose for you. Have your own voice and make your own choices. You are the youth and you are the new India! Stand proud and stand together. I love you all dearly!"

Previously on Saturday Bengaluru Police Commissioner T. Suneel Kumar denied permission for a New Year bash in the city where Sunny was invited to perform.

Sunny was supposed to perform at the Manyata Tech Park in the city suburbs. But, the city police chief said it would not be possible to provide enough security at the venue as the entire force would be on duty across the city on that night.

Sunny Leone to star in Meena Kumari biopic!

Numerous reports have been making the rounds about Meena Kumari's biopic. Several names like Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and more came up to essay the titular role. But finally, they all turned down the offer.

As per reports in a tabloid, Sunny Leone might essay the role of Meena Kumari in the biopic. When the director of the project Karan Razdan was questioned about the same, he specified, "I think the only one, who is courageous enough and said to me, 'When can we start this film?', has been Sunny Leone. I have narrated it to Madhuri and Vidya but it didn’t work out for one reason or the other. Sunny came along, she said she had heard about this film and wanted me to narrate it. I met her at her house, had a long narration. I don't know... She is not the ideal choice, I would say. But she was the most enthusiastic about doing the role. I guess, she also saw this as her big chance."

Karan further revealed about Vidya turning down the offer. He told, "I narrated her something but at the moment she is wanting to do something that’s non-serious. She has had too much of serious stuff. We spoke at length. Maybe tomorrow, I may have that kind of script for her. But at the moment, I wanted her to play the role of an actress of the 1960s. The film dealt with alcoholism and tragedy."

Sunny Leone opens up about her daughter Nisha Kaur Weber's Disneyland birthday celebrations!

Famous couple Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber adopted a baby girl Nisha from Latur and since then, their life has revolved around their tiny munchkin.

The family had travelled to LA for Nisha's second birthday celebrations and luckily, this was Nisha's first international trip.

On how the vacation went, Sunny revealed a tabloid, "Our only plan was to enjoy Los Angeles as much as possible and be away [from our usual, day-to-day activities]. We also had a family reunion with Daniel’s family, who hadn’t met Nisha until then. In fact, we were all excited about that."

Getting frank about her daughter's birthday celebrations in Disneyland, the actress disclosed, "With Nisha, every day is special. For her birthday, we went to Disneyland. She is very young right now, so she might not remember a lot of these things [when she grows up], but we will at least have pictures to show what her first birthday with us was like (smiles). That’s why Daniel and I try and explore new places with her every day."

Previously, Sunny spoke at length about Nisha with a media source as she revealed, "Well our whole life has changed for the better. Figuring out our schedule is not as difficult as we thought it would be and she is at an age where she can travel with us if need be."

The actress added later, "I am enjoying every second of my time with her. There is nothing more I can ask for. We are truly blessed. It is the best experience of my life and I can't wait to show her every inch of this world and teach her so many things."

On being questioned if she has finally managed to make some real friends in Bollywood, Sunny told, “Probably not, I made really nice friends with people that I have worked with, and I know it sounds weird but I only meet people when I’m working with them. I am not a part of any social group or club and what I find is that people get so weird and shallow that it’s not me that they want to know, it’s someone else.”

She went on to reveal the time when no one was ready to accompany her on the stage at an awards ceremony and how Chunky Pandey turned out to be a saviour then. “I was new in the industry then and when a new person comes in and especially when they think it’s shady or who is this person and where does she come from, there is some sense of curiosity. Also, at that moment there were probably many women who didn’t like me. I’m okay with that but it was weird to sit there, and wait for someone to turn up and go with me on stage,” she told.

Sunny lately turned a mother to baby Nisha. Speaking about her, Sunny told, “We try to keep her happy as much as we can and she has a fixed schedule. Earlier, she knew only Marathi but now she can understand English and we converse with her in English only.”

She further added, “I write down her every progress. She now knows 18 words and when we put her in the shower, she is reluctant to come out of it.”

Sunny spoke about her choice of movies telling, "Every film is glamorous. There were elements in both films [Mastizaade and One Night Stand] that were sexy, but, that's the case with all movies. I am not doing anything that another actress has not done. I don't know why it evokes a different reaction."

She concluded by speaking about her future projects, stating, "I am doing TV shows, and commercials. I will also turn producer along with Daniel soon."

Even though Ram Gopal Varma is a gifted film-maker, he has become scandalous for his nasty comments on social based topics time and again.

We evidently recall how RGV posted a tweet a few months ago mentioning Sunny Leone on International Women’s Day, where he posted, “I wish every woman gives a man same happiness like Sunny Leone gives.”

And now, the filmmaker has come up with a short movie called Meri Beti Sunny Leone Banna Chahti Hai on YouTube.

The short movie is getting mixed reviews from the social media but the debate has made the film trending on the video sharing site and other social media platforms.

The movie depicts living room conversation in an average, middle-class household, where the daughter of the family played by Naina Ganguly has just informed her parents played by Makarand Deshpande and Divya Jagdale of her intention to become a porn star, like Sunny Leone.

The parents and daughter go through a tense argument over sexuality, the porn business, women's bodies, society where Sunny Leone's name is thrown around in every second sentence.

The film has received less appreciation and more of a backlash from the social media for being progressive in the weirdest way possible.

Also, RGV starts his short film with three quotes taken from famous people based on women and sexuality and he ends the movie with his quote which read, “I sincerely believe women empowerment should have no discrimination. Her power should be her choice.”

Actress Sunny Leone never fails to amaze her fans with her amazing dancing skills in the special numbers she does in the flicks. Last, Sunny was seen in the chartbuster hit from Raees, Laila Main Laila.

Now as per a famous tabloid, Sunny is all set to make her Marathi debut. Yes, the striking beauty will be doing an item number in an untitled movie. Speaking about it, director-composer Avadhoot Gupte specified, "Our project is big, so we thought of bringing in someone who is popular among the masses."

He further added, "It was a huge responsibility to make the song worthy of Sunny."

When Leone was questioned about it, she told, "I am doing my first Marathi song with my favourite choreographer, Ganesh Acharya and that doubles my joy. He always comes up with great hook steps that are a lot of fun to dance to."

The untitled film will be directed by Vishal Deorukhkar and the film is based on a youth-oriented subject.

The North American import recently made a trip back to Los Angeles to check out film-related courses for herself. Sunny has narrowed the list down to scriptwriting and editing, and she’s looking forward to improving her understanding of the technicalities of cinema when the next semester starts in September. I think it’s safe to assume that Sunny has filmmaking aspirations that she’ll reveal to the world after she finishes the course.
