Vidhu Vinod Chopra is mesmerized with the trailer of Aamir Khan's movie "Dangal". The filmmaker tells Aamir is excelling himself as an artiste in the upcoming biographical sports drama.

"I watched the trailer and I think it's incredible. I really like Aamir as an actor. He is excelling himself," told Chopra, who is maker of Aamir-starrers "PK" and "3 Idiots".

He further included, "Aamir is a crazy person. We call him an idiot. Only an idiot can do a film like this."

Chopra voiced his views about "Dangal" when he attended the 18th Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival with the megastar here.

Nitesh Tiwari's movie sees Aamir essaying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta was India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she clinched the gold medal while Babita won the silver.

Aamir essays both the younger and older characters of Phogat in the movie. "Dangal" is slated to release on December 23.

Bollywood megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan lately came together to unveil the trailer of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Hollywood directorial debut Broken Horses and at the event, Chopra expressed his desire to cast Aamir and Bachchan together in an international film soon.

When Aamir told that he hasn't taken up any international projects so far because none of the scripts he was offered excited him, Chopra told, ''I think it is high time for me to write something that excites Aamir now. Indeed, it will be wonderful to work with Mr. Bachchan and Aamir Khan in an English language film for the world audience. Let's aim for that.''

By the way, Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan have never worked together in any movie till date.
