Akshay Kumar, who had played a negative role in Ajnabee
years back, will be seen playing a baddie in Robot 2, which stars South
superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. But, you would be astonished to know
that Robot 2 is not Akshay's first South movie!
In a latest interview, the Khiladi disclosed that before
becoming a mainstream Bollywood actor, he had starred in a Kannada cop drama
named Vishnu Vijaya, which had also starred South star Dr. Vishnuvardhan,
Ashwini Bhave and Pankaj Dheer. The movie was made both in Hindi and Kannada
and though the Hindi version, which was titled Ashaant was a major flop, the
Kannada version was a super-hit.
