Akshay Kumar’s crow-like mutant look in Robot 2!

We had informed that Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the villain in South megastar Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie Robot 2 and we finally have Akshay Kuamr's look from the movie for our readers here.

Different to what was informed earlier, Kumar will not play an android but will instead be seen playing a genius scientist named Dr. Richard, who turns into a crow-like mutant following an experiment gone wrong. In the still that has surfaced, Akshay is seen with a black feathery outfit, blood-red eyes, silver hair and eyebrows shaped like the wings of a bird. Unnecessary to say, Akshay's look in the movie sent a shiver up our spines and we are sure that Akshay Kumar will rock in his South venture.

At present, Akshay will be seen playing an Indian Navy officer in Rustom.

Akshay Kumar, who has always spoken his contempt for film award events, lately made us laugh with his statement on what made him agree to play the antagonist in forthcoming South film Robot 2, which stars South megastar Rajinikanth.

When asked as to what made him give his nod to the negative role in Robot 2, the Akshay joked with a wicked chuckle that there is no lobbying when it comes to awards for negative roles, which is what tempted him to do the movie. Seemingly, Akshay will play an android, who clashes with Rajinikanth's character.

Akshay's debut South film is Vishnu Vijaya, not 'Robot 2'!

Akshay Kumar, who had played a negative role in Ajnabee years back, will be seen playing a baddie in Robot 2, which stars South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. But, you would be astonished to know that Robot 2 is not Akshay's first South movie!

In a latest interview, the Khiladi disclosed that before becoming a mainstream Bollywood actor, he had starred in a Kannada cop drama named Vishnu Vijaya, which had also starred South star Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Ashwini Bhave and Pankaj Dheer. The movie was made both in Hindi and Kannada and though the Hindi version, which was titled Ashaant was a major flop, the Kannada version was a super-hit.

Rajini sir is a complete gentleman: Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson will be seen opposite superstar Rajinikanth in forthcoming movie Robot 2 and she is all admiration for her co-star. Akshay Kumar will be playing the antagonist in the film and Amy, who had shared screen space with the actor in Singh Is Bliing, is thrilled to work with him again.

Talking about the film, Amy told, ''We have started shooting for Robot 2 and I have already shot a lot of scenes with Rajini sir. I haven't started shooting alongside Akshay yet but I have worked with him in Singh Is Bliing, so I'm very excited.''

Amy further said, ''Rajini sir is a complete gentleman. I was very nervous before I started shooting as I didn't know what he is going to be like but he is very humble and very down to earth. It's a privilege and an honour to be in a film with him.''

Directed by Shankar, the movie is a sequel to Rajini's 2010 release Robot.
