Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are uniting
onscreen for the first time in Sui Dhaaga: Made in India, which is inspired by
the Make in India initiative. In the film, Varun will be seen as a tailor while
Anushka will be seen as embroider with the duo essaying a small-town couple.
While speaking to a daily, producer Maneesh Sharma revealed,
"Varun and Anushka are exceptional performers and they have outdone
themselves in Sui Dhaaga. They had believed in the core message of the film
since the day we narrated it to them and they have told us that they are
eagerly looking forward to sharing their conviction with the audiences. It is a
dream project for Yash Raj Films and we intend to passionately promote a film
that we are incredibly confident about."
The trailer of the film will be out, somewhere near
Independence Day i.e. August 15, 2018.
