Iconic Australian stadium invites Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma for wedding!

Amongst the conjecture of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma to tie the knot in Italy next week, Anushka took off to Milan with her family last night.

While the famous couple has left everybody guessing, the management of the iconic Australian stadium has expressed the desire to host their marriage.

Talking to a tabloid, CEO of the historic sports venue told, “We would be thrilled to host Virat and Anushka’s wedding at Adelaide Oval. How fantastic would it be for Virat to create more happy memories here, considering his outstanding playing history at the Oval."

For those uninformed, Kohli has quite a few memories related with the stadium. Kohli made his debut ton in 2012 and his highest T20 score of 90 while playing in the same stadium.

As per the report, the stadium allows private functions, such as a marriage, for a cost that starts Aus $159 per guest (Rs 8000) upwards.

“With 26 purpose-built function spaces to choose from, combined with a showcase of South Australia’s finest food and wine it would be an unforgettable day for the future Mr and Mrs Kohli and their guests,” he told.

In the meantime, Anushka’s representative has repudiated gossips of their wedding, but, sources told a tabloid, that Anushka’s father, Ajay Kumar Sharma has personally called their neighbors and have invited them for the marriage. Nearby friends from their building have received calls from Anushka’s father.

The source revealed, “The star dad has made calls to some building folks, inviting them for the wedding that is slated for next week. As everyone cannot travel to Italy, he was keen to make them aware of the developments and seek blessings for the couple.”

There is no official announcement for the same.
