Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is set to essay a lawyer for
the first time in Batti Gul Meter Chalu which is being directed by Toilet: Ek
Prem Katha's director Shree Narayan Singh.
Shahid's adoring wife Mira unquestionably approves of
Shahid's choice, as per a tabloid as she fell in love with the script of Batti
Gul Meter Chalu.
A source disclosed, "Mira absolutely loved the Batti
Gul script and after she read it, she told Shahid that this was the film for
him. She believes in the script and Shahid, who also took keen interest in the
project then, immediately decided to sign it."
Previously, the daily had reported that Mira has been
providing a helping hand to her husband when it comes to choosing scripts.
Batti Gul Meter Chalu is slated to release on August 31,
2018.
