I am not ready for marriage, admits Deepika Padukone!

After the success of her Hollywood debut - xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Deepika Padukone is presently on cloud nine.

From being the highest paid actress to experimenting between Bollywood and West, Deepika is backing every aspect of her career with the multi-dimensional approach.

Like her professional life, her personal life is equally in the limelight. Deepika's on and off relationship status with rumored BF Ranveer Singh is much-talked about. Among their breakup rumours, both recently turned heads at the Indian premier of xXx, walking hand-in-hand at the after party.

In a frank interview with Filmfare this month, Deepika spoke at length about her relationship status and her thoughts on wedding.

Deepika was in Canada for a comparatively longer schedule while she was shooting for xXx. Also, 2016 went by in globe-trotting owing to film's promotions and public appearances. On being asked what's her take on long distance relationships, she revealed, "I don't think I'm an expert with relationships in first place. Also, I haven't dealt with a long distance relationship to know what goes into it. But I do believe relationships are what you make of them. They can be easy, complex depending on what two people make out of it. End of the day it takes two people to make a relationship work. As long as they both are on the same page, it's good."

Deepika has turned 31 this year. Is marriage on cards for her? "I don't think marriage has anything to do with age. It depends on the state of mind of the person and all the situations and people in their life. I don't believe one should define marriage with the parameters of age at all. There are some people who don't get married till their mid-40s while there are also folks who tie the knot at 21-22. Personally, I am not ready for marriage," shared Deepika, before signing off.
