The theatrical trailer of Neeraj
Pandey's Naam Shabana has now become the talk of the town,
with Taapsee Pannu showing her fierce and no-nonsense side. And now, the
new song of the movie is out and we must say it is quite soothing.
The song Rozana, gives us an insight of Taapsee's character
who seems to be reclusive, the one who finds it hard to express
her emotions.
The lyrics and gestures in the song would probably remind
you of your first love/relationship. The time when you are flooded with various
emotions from apprehension to longing and confusion, which later may or may not
result into a confession. The song tries to put into words Taapsee's affection
for a guy who appears to have been swoon by her already.
In the beginning, the guy resonates what we all perhaps
witness in the whole song, Taapsee's reserved
self. He asks (Taapsee Pannu),
"Tumne aaj tak ek bhi baat share ki hai apne baare mein?" Taapsee has
underplayed her emotions pretty well in the song.
While Shreya Ghosal has given her beautiful voice for the
song, Rochak Kohli is behind the melody and Manoj Muntashir has written those
romantic lyrics.
Starring Taapsee Pannu, Akshay Kumar, Prithviraj,
Sukumaran, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa and Elli Avram, Naam
Shabana is slated to release on March 31, 2017.
