The wait is at last over. Bollywood filmmaker Vikram Bhatt
is back with India's first horror web series Gehraiyaan starring Sanjeeda
Sheikh and Vatsal Sheth. The series will be directed by Sidhant Sachdev. We
have got hands on the first look of the web series and it's just captivating.
Reyna Malik (Sanjeeda Sheikh) is a 26-year-old surgeon who
has recently shifted back to Mumbai from Bengaluru. She has taken a sabbatical
of one year from her profession after she underwent something traumatic.
But, she experiences some
mysterious and scary incident in the flat. She sees a scary figure, a shadow
following her everywhere, even in the lift. Her friends feel that all this is
all just part of her hallucination. Her neighbor comes forward to help her. But
there's seems to be some gray shade to him, or are we just thinking too much?
Sanjeeda as a disturbed surgeon seems convincing, while
Vatsal gives that spooky vibe, adding the hint of mystery to his character.
Will this Jodi be able to cast their magic yet again? We will have to wait
and watch.
Speaking about his show Vikram
Bhatt told, "The ‘First look’ trailer and poster released
today are sure to create a sense of curiosity and excitement about
this show which is an urban thriller. When your imagination becomes a reality,
your most innate fears come alive. The trailer gives you a hint of just what’s
in store for the viewers."
Sanjeeda and Vatsal were last seen sharing screen space in
Star Plus Ek Haseena Thi. The chemistry between the duos was adored
by all.
Well, the tale will unfold on March 31, 2017.
