TV star Hina Khan made heads turn at the Cannes Film Festival, and while on Day 1, she wore a heavily embellished Ziad Naked Gown with floor-length sleeve extension, for her second red carpet appearance, the actor chose a dark silver metallic gown from Australian designer Alin Le’ Kal.

At an after party hosted by Priyanka Chopra and hubby Nick Jonas, a photograph of Priyanka Chopra, Diana Penty, Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan has gone viral online and Huma Instagrammed the photo with the caption, “Strong women support each other, Real women support each other. Thank you Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas jijufor making our night about 'Desi Girl Power.”

Recently, Hina Khan, who had a fan girl moment with Priyanka at the Cannes Film Festival, took to social media to post a series of selfies with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and along with the photograph, Hina was all admirations for Priyanka Chopra as she thanked her for inviting her to the party and acknowledging her presence and for being a walking inspiration. Hina’s caption read, “An unexpected invitation by a world star.. personally, after I gained consciousness and prepared my self to finally make it, I was still an outsider but only until you arrived. You didn’t need to, but still never left my hand for a second, introduced me to the people I probably wouldn’t have met and I felt as if all the achievements of my little career happening in fast forward as you present me as a star to each one of them.”

Rani Mukherji missed a chance at show India’s Next Superstars!

Filmmaker Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty’s show India’s Next Superstars has celebrities coming as guest judges each week. The first episode saw Priyanka Chopra followed by Kangana Ranaut.

Rani Mukerji was to shoot for an episode lately with Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. But, the actress had to cancel the shoot owing to aggravating pain in her shoulder.

A close source from the sets revealed to a tabloid, “Rani has been in excruciating pain for the past three days. She is a thorough professional and despite her back issue she landed up on the sets of India’s Next Superstar today.”

“She was getting ready to shoot with her best friend Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty and that’s when she again felt a surge in pain. She couldn’t move. Her pain was excruciating again and unfortunately she had to rush back home to be attended by her doctor. We hope she gets well soon,” the source further added.

The team of India’s Next Superstars is trying to reschedule the shoot when Rani feels better. She was to promote her movie Hichki on the show.

SAB TV co-founder Gautam Adhikari’s sad demise due to cardiac arrest!

Famous television producer-director Gautam Adhikari passed away in Mumbai on October 27, 201, of cardiac arrest. He was 67. Gautam Adhikari was the chairman and co-founder of Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Limited also known as SAB TV, along with his brother Markand Adhikari. The last rites of Gautam Adhikari were performed at Vile Parle in Mumbai. He is survived by wife Ranjana and two children.

The SAB group started in 1985 as a production house for Marathi content on TV and went on to have a bouquet of TV channels, including in Hindi. SAB TV was the first TV production house that went publicly. The company is into film production, distribution and also publishing. 

Markand Adhikari's wife Kanchan Adhikari revealed a portal, "Gautam was earlier unwell because of kidney transplant but had been doing quite alright lately. But he got a massive heart attack at 2.30 am and passed away."

Several Television and film personalities offered condolences on the death of Gautam Adhikari.

TV actress Deepika Singh shares her baby’s cute photo!

It is baby time for TV Industry and here is another brand new mother, who took to Instagram to share the first look picture of her loveable little one. The actress delivered her little one last month and has been receiving congratulatory messages ever since.

Sharing the photo, Deepika posted, "Baby turns 1 month today Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and blessings.. Being a mother is a full time job which currently im loving the most.. Baby and papa and mumma loves all of you."

The actress is known for her depiction of a strong independent woman in the shoes of ACP Sandhya Rathi of Diya Aur Baati Hum. Deepika had spoken to a close source when she was pregnant and had a strong message for all the female fans.

She had told, "Education is very important. Every girl should be educated because she is the one who will pass on good thoughts and knowledge to her child and enlighten the family at the same time. Today education has helped me so much. I can read out to my child living inside me, differentiate between the right and wrong. The baby'development happens in the womb itself, so I am sure its going to help my baby and hence can other women too do it. I have always seen that women do not care for themselves much. They will prioritize their family before them. But I feel its wrong, they should prioritize themselves too because they are the strength of the family. If they do not stand fit, their family can collapse."

TV actress Urvashi Dholakia celebrates her twins’ 22nd birthday!

TV actress Urvashi Dholakia is a proud mother of her twins sons Sagar and Kshitij. Her sons rejoice their 22nd birthday recently and she took to her Instagram page to wish her boys.

On the film front, Urvashi is all set to be seen in Colors TV's Chandrakanta which will go on air from June 24, 2017. On the show, Urvashi is playing the character of a greedy queen who believes in black magic and can go to any extent to reach to the top of a powerful position.
