Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir
Khan have been spotted together recently.
First, they were seen in Dubai at businessman Ajay Bijli's
birthday celebration. On Saturday night, Aamir was seen at SRK's house Mannat along
with Netflix CEO, Reed Castings.
SRK even posted a group picture on his Twitter page telling,
"Netflixed & Chilled. Thx @reedhastings Ted Sarandos & team &
my friend @aamir_khan for breaking his regimen for me."
Today, on the occasion of his birthday, Aamir interacted
with the media. When he was asked about his meet with SRK, he specified,
"I met Shah Rukh twice. Last month during Ajay Bijli's birthday
celebration in Dubai. I felt really good after meeting him. Now, two days
before he invited me to his home for a get-together."
So, are they set to work together? To which he told,
"We are meeting casually just as friends. We have not discussed
work."
It was reported that both will be a part of a commercial
together. Speaking about it, a source specified, "Aamir playing a sweet
seller who is helped by his daughters in the shop got rave reviews. This has
encouraged the channel’s brand team to try and rope in both Shah Rukh and Aamir
together."
On the film front, Aamir will start shooting for his forthcoming
movie Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Vijay Krishna
Acharya, the film is set to go on floors in the month of June.
The film will be releasing next year during Diwali weekend.
