Irrfan Khan's vigilante act in his next Madaari!

Irrfan Khan, who was last seen in a romantic role in Shoojit Sircar's Piku, will be next seen teaming up with his Mumbai Meri Jaan director Nishikant Kamat for Madaari, in which he plays a vigilante and the trailer of the movie was unveiled by the makers recently.

The movie revolves around a common man with a family, who kidnaps the son of the Home Minister following a mishap that claims the life of his son and the manhunt that ensues following the kidnapping. The movie also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, who plays a cop tasked with the mission of apprehending the kidnapper and rescuing the Home Minister's son. Though the trailer seemed intriguing, we couldn't help but notice that it did bring to mind Neeraj Pandey's A Wednesday, which had starred Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher and others. However, as the film stars Irrfan, we are quite curious to see what the acting powerhouse serves up in his latest offering.

Madaari is slated to hit the screens on June 10.
