Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez (A Flying Jatt),
Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt (Udta Punjab), Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline
Fernandez (Dishoom) - These are some of the first time 'jodis' that would be
seen on the big screen in the upcoming months. But, each of these couples is
finding themselves in an experimental setting. While A Flying Jatt is a
superhero affair, Udta Punjab is a dark drama. On the other hand Dishoom is an
action entertainer.
No surprise, it is the 'jodi' of Sidharth Malhotra and
Katrina Kaif which is the most awaited in 2016.
"Coming together of two very good looking people in a
romantic musical always helps," tells a prominent film personality,"
Of course, everybody from Tiger, Jacqueline, Shahid, Alia to Varun is good
looking. But, none of the movies that they are starring in is a romantic
entertainer. Baar Baar Dekho has romance as an integral part of the narrative, which
is said to be interesting too as their is a concept of time and space
involved."
Though many had primarily wondered if this Nitya Mehra movie
would step into a sci-fi zone, the revelation of the First Look changed the
whole perception around its stage and setting.
"Sidharth and Katrina together in a lovey-dovey pose
while having fun on a beach is as refreshing as it gets. Both of them boast of
great bodies and are looking so comfortable together. Moreover, the
compatibility factor needs to work as well for a pair to shine. It would be
very interesting to see how Baar Baar Dekho, which has names as big as Farhan
Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani,Karan Johar and Sunil Lulla coming together, raises
excitement in months to come. Ideally, the focus should stay on the coming
together of Sidharth and Katrina's because new 'jodis' are certainly in,"
a trade expert adds.
Well, if viewers reception towards another new jodi (Tiger
and Shraddha) in recent biggie Baaghi is any indication, it could well be time
to welcome Sidharth and Katrina too once Baar Baar Dekho arrives on 9th
September.
