Bollywood hunk Ranveer Singh gets
effortlessly blended with any character he dons on the big screen. The best
example of that can be, his portrayal of Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's
magnum opus Bajirao Mastani. Now, he is again set to essay a historical
character Alauddin Khilji in SLB's next directorial Padmavati. Ranveer has
been sporting a different hairdo and a stylish beard teamed up with kohl eyes.
His fans are overwhelmed and can't wait to see him playing a negative role for
the first time in his career.
Now as per a famous daily, there's one more historical
character coming his way. Yes, reports have it, Ranveer is offered to play
Udham Singh, an Indian revolutionary, who became a part of history for
assassinating General Dyer, the mastermind behind the Jallianwala Bagh
massacre, 1919.
Rumour has it, Ranveer has loved the script and has given a
green signal for the movie. The film is set to be presented by first-rate
filmmaker Shoojit Sircar.
In the meantime, Singh is presently in Switzerland with his
close friends having a fun and frolic time exploring the beautiful locales of
the country. He will soon be back and resume the shoot of Padmavati, where
he is starring alongside Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. The
film is set to hit the screens this year on November 17, 2017.
Furthermore, the actor will start shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully
Boy opposite Alia Bhatt in the month of November.
