Director Rajkumar Hirani is leaving no stone unturned to
ensure his much-anticipated film based on Sanjay Dutt's life is a treat for his
fans. With an ensemble cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka
Sharma, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal, the movie has surely
created a lot of buzz. Now we have heard that the director has roped in a
popular small screen actor to play the role of one of Sanjay's love interest.
As per to a famous tabloid, Karishma Tanna will be seen essaying
the role of one of the love interests of Sanju Baba. She has even shot for the movie
in a three-day-schedule.
Talking about her role to a famous daily, Karishma told,
"“I am doing a guest appearance. I am sharing screen space with Ranbir
Kapoor, but I am not exactly playing Sanjay Dutt’s love interest, I am one of
his encounters… It’s just a cameo but I would take my role as important as it
is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt, so whatever is important in his life is being shown
in the film."
Karishma who is also known to be the dancing queen of the
Telly-Ville has been part of numerous reality shows including Bigg Boss 8, Nach
Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Well, there has been a lot of rumors over who will be essaying
the role of Madhuri Dixit, who dated Dutt. Will it be Sonam Kapoor or
Karishma? or someone else? Well, we will have to wait and watch.
The film is set to release later this year.
