Baahubali 2’s one million tickets sold in just 24 hours, breaking 'Dangal' record!

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has already hit the screens today and the admirers have gone crazy to catch up with the movie screening all over the country.

Now, as per a famous tabloid, the film will have six shows in a day in each of the languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. And, within 24 hours over one million tickets were sold after the bookings were opened worldwide.

Speaking about it to a famous tabloid, the COO of a leading movie ticketing platform specified, "The site is experiencing an unprecedented advance booking for Baahubali 2. We have already sold over 1 million tickets across languages, even when the bookings have been live for just over a day. Though Baahubali 2 is largely perceived to be loved by South Indian audience, the response from Hindi speaking markets has been highly encouraging as well"

He further added, "Once all the cinemas in South come out with their respective schedules of the movie screening, we expect the sales of online tickets might increase at a fast pace."

As per to a trade site, the South versions of Baahubali: The Conclusion have all opened to an earth-shattering numbers. The states of Nizam / Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala are enjoying almost 90-100 occupancy. However, Tamil Nadu is less than the others. Hindi version is only 12-15% short of the South versions and still will be higher than many Hindi films.


Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is directed by SS Rajamouli and is the sequel to 2015's magnum opusBaahubali: The Beginning. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film stars Prabhas in titular role along with Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar in pivotal roles.
