Lately, gossip mills were abuzz with the reports of Salman Khan agreeing to be part of the Race franchise. With this, the reports advocated that the actor has put Remo D'Souza's dance movie on the back burner.

The reports further went on to suggest that Salman agreed for Race 3 on the condition that Remo directs it.

Speaking to a famous tabloid, producer Ramesh Taurani without revealing much said that they will soon be making an official announcement of the cast soon.

“There’s no confirmation yet. I can’t comment on it right now. But the film will go on floors this year and soon the announcement about the cast will be made,” told Ramesh Taurani.

The first two installments of Race had Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. It will be interesting to see how the cast looks like if Salman is indeed coming on board.

But, Remo in a previously interview had refuted reports of him directing Race 3 and had maintained that he is indeed going ahead with his dance film with Salman.

“I don’t know where this news is coming from. I am not involved with Race 3. So, I don’t know whether Salman Khan is a part of the film or not. Salman Khan is very much a part of my dance film where he plays the role of a father. He is a man of his words,” Remo told.

Anil Kapoor becomes AK for his children!

Anil Kapoor is one of the coolest actors we have seen in Bollywood. His camaraderie with his co-stars and also with his family are a treat to one's eyes. Now, the veteran actor is all set to be seen alongside his nephew Arjun Kapoor in Mubarakan.

We recently caught up with Anil and asked him about his experience of working with his family. To which he replied, "Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, I know all of them since they were kids. So, I have a comfort level with all three of them. Especially Arjun, because he is my brother's son, he grew up in front of me. What I like about him is, he bonds very well with all his cousins and my children. Usually, sometimes what happens is, cousins, live separately in different cities, so it becomes difficult to bond. But now, everybody is living in the vicinity of Juhu, Lokhandwala, Bandra and Pali Hill. It's like one full gang and I am their eternal uncle/chacha."

Anil revealed an interesting fact about himself saying, "They don't call me uncle, they call me AK. Even my children call me AK, they call my wife Sunita, Sonu and not mom."

That's an interesting revelation, isn't it?

He further added, "I have been friendly with all these kids and it's great fun. It was amazing to work with Arjun and we always used to get along very well. Now, we have spent so much time together professionally."

Anil concluded by saying, "There are ups and downs in these kinds of situations when you are working with your relatives. We have to be very sensitive and we all are very careful."

Anushka Sharma opens up about prevalent sexism in Bollywood!

Actress Anushka Sharma has always been candid and vocal about her thoughts and opinions. Earlier, in an interview, Anushka has voiced her opinion about the prevalent sexism in Bollywood. “Girls are just expected to be good-looking. Look nice and just be interesting enough for a guy to be interested in you in a film. Women doing films together – they only come together in a film when there’s a guy involved," she had previously told.

“Men can work as long as they want to even when they’ve aged. They’re still amazing and cool. And I have no problem with that. But why is that women are only okay when they’re “young and desirable”? There’s a sexual connotation attached,” she had added.

The actress has given us solo hits like NH 10 and did impress us with her ability as an actor. Anushka will next be in Jab Harry Met Sejal. We got to meet her while she was promoting the film. She was questioned that she has been amongst a few actress who has spoken about sexism in the industry. Have the things changed since then?

Anushka told, "When I spoke about that, I was not talking just about me but in general. Has it changed completely? No, it hasn't but is we moving positively towards that change. I think yes but I think you can't hold the industry for it only because I think it also has to do with people. When you do female centric films, why don't they open to the same box office numbers as against male centric films? This is such a deep rooted thing, so many years we have not really expected much from our female actors. So it will take time for us to get there. We are all pioneer of this change. May be we won't be able to see the real benefits of this change completely but at least we are doing something that will help the process."

Jhanvi and Ishaan’s look test for Fault in Our Stars remake!

Veteran actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's debut movie has been a topic of chat from quite a few months now. The young girl has been preparing up for her big debut under Karan Johar's banner Dharma Productions. While there hasn't been any official pronouncement yet, reports suggest that she would step into Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Marathi hit Sairat.

The film will also see another new face and that is of Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter. Though Ishaan's debut movie is Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds, his mainstream debut will be KJo's film.

Among these rumors, comes another news that has intrigued us. If a report in a daily is to be believed, then both Jhanvi and Ishaan have also been roped in for the remake of Shailene Woodley's Fault in Our Stars. The film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has two blockbusters - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania to his credit!

Fascinatingly, it was with this movie that Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan was to make her debut. But, it seems that things didn't work out between them and now the beautiful girl will be marking her debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath that also stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead.

In the meantime, the look test for Fault in Our Stars happened over the weekend and both Jhanvi and Ishaan seem to have mesmerized all with it. We are thrilled to see the pictures from the look test and for the official announcement.

I'd rather do Rs 50-lakh film than a Rs 50-cr project, tells Nawazuddin!

Whether it's bringing alive well-known writer Saadat Hasan Manto onscreen in "Manto" or playing a rustic sharpshooter in his most "besharam" movie "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz", actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's new projects are about exploring the unexplored.

At a time when a mega-budget entertainer like "Baahubali" has set new examples for the Indian film industry, the resourceful actor tells a film's budget or the stars and directors associated with it don't motivate him to decide on a project.

"However big a scale of a film, or however famous a director is, or a star, I don't do a film till I don't understand it."

"If someone says it's a Rs 50-crore or Rs 70-crore film, I leave that and do a Rs 50-lakh film, because satisfaction is very important for me. Maybe the Rs 50-crore film doesn't allow me to tap a new side of my potential that a smaller budget film lets me discover," Nawazuddin told.

"If nothing happens to me from within after listening to a film's story, then I don't do it budget irrespective," added the actor, who for the past three to four years, has come into his own.

In "Manto", meanwhile, the actor will be seen bringing forth the simplicity of the writer, who was a strong advocate of free speech.

"'Manto' has been a great experience... People know a lot about his work and he continues to be known for his daring and boldness," Nawazuddin told, drawing a deep breath of satisfaction understandably of getting his due in the industry.

"I am doing the kind of roles that I really want to do... The industry is giving them to me. I never wanted to do black and white kind of roles. Our (Indian film) hero has no drawback at all... So I am not interested in those roles," Nawazuddin told.

"And there's one villain who has all the evil. I am not interested in that role as well. I am drawn to close-to-real-life roles where the character is a mix of black and white... I prefer grey.", concluded Nawazuddin.

I want to do films that my heart says yes to. However, I plan the budget so that costs are a minimum with such films. When we did Talaash, I told the producers that the film won't make more than 70 crores. So we planned accordingly. However, it made 95 crores."
