Sushant repudiates being upset with R Madhavan!

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will soon be seen playing the role of an astronaut in his upcoming film, Chanda Mama Door Ke. Sushant has always been experimental when it comes to essaying characters in his movies. Lately, the actor made headlines when there were news doing the rounds that he is upset with the makers of Chanda Mama Door Ke because they increased the screen timing of co-star R Madhavan.

A source revealed a famous tabloid, "Madhavan had a small role to play in the film, but the makers made few changes in the script and his role has been increased and this hasn’t gone down well with Sushant."

Sushant took to Twitter to repudiate the news and posted, "Ain't true, I believe there are no small roles but only, possibly small actors and @ActorMadhavan is a great one and I often learn from him."

He also further added, "I just can't wait to work with you brother !!" R Madhavan replied back saying, "You are as wise as you are handsome bro.I wish they knew we are way better than this...can't wait to get on the sets with you..."

Putting an end to the conjectures, a source also explained, "R Madhavan and Sushant Singh Rajput have a lot of regard for each other. Sushant is a very secure actor and has never bothered about his co-stars roles or screen time. He's also done Kai Po Che with two other actors. For him it's the film that matters and not the length of the role."

Shraddha Kapoor’s no for Chanda Mama Door Ke!

Conjectures around who would be the female lead in Sushant Singh Rajput's Chanda Mama Door Ke have been going around for quite some time now. Firstly, media was abuzz with the reports of actress Aisha Sharma having been roped in to essay the lead role opposite Sushant.

But, the makers repudiated the news and released an official statement that read, "There is no truth to the report. The casting for the film is still underway and an official announcement will be made soon."

Later, news of Fatima Sana Shaikh also made rounds which were soon dismissed and a source quoted to a daily, "The makers of Chanda Mama Door Ke have been hunting for a leading lady, and they’re keen on casting Fatima for this film. Right now, nothing is on paper, so one can’t confirm anything about this.”

And then the reports came that Shraddha Kapoor has come on board for the film. But, now she has also repudiated the reports and said a famous tabloid, "That’s not true. I haven’t even been offered the film. There’s no point talking about doing or not doing it."

It’s a Chanda Mama Door Ke’s look for Sushant!

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been thrilled about his space movie Chanda Mama Door Ke and has been sharing images of his NASA visit, on his social networking handle. "From a miniature Rocket to a life size one, this grown up kid will never cease to Dream. My mother always wanted her 'Sushant in Space' !!," SSR posted lately, with a pic of his.

In his newest picture, SSR can be seen wearing a space costume telling, "DREAMS do come true !!".

Shekhar Kapur joined in Sushant's enthusiasm telling, "Am fascinated and intrigued by the film Chanda Mama Door Ke, hey Sushant? Tell us more about being at NASA. Did you wear spacesuit?"

In response, Sushant posted, "Yes sir. Spacesuit, neutral buoyancy, centrifuge, zero gravity, moon walking and ISS operations and many more."

Sushant will be seen as an astronaut in the movie. He visited the NASA centre in the US to prepare for the space adventure to experience zero gravity.

Directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, the movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R. Madhavan.

Kriti Sanon, who is allegedly dating SSR, also wished him on Twitter telling, "Flying high literally? I'm sure your mom will be really proud! Keep shining Sush. Super excited to see Sushant in Space."

Sushant Singh Rajput opens up about Chanda Mama Door Ke and his love for theatre!

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has finally started preparing for his next movie titled Chanda Mama Door Ke. The actor will be seen in the role of an astronaut.

Lately, during an interaction with a famous tabloid, SSR Sushant at length how he was always curious to know about stars, the galaxy and life beyond earth. He specified, "I have always been fascinated by outer space. As a kid too, I was interested in stars, constellations and galaxies. I always wanted to know what life in space would be like. When this film was offered to me, I was intrigued as it touches upon this particular subject."

For his role, Sushant will be visiting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to get into the skin of his character. Furthermore, special effects supervisor John Palmer, who was a part of popular Hollywood films namely Apollo 13 (1995), Deep Impact (1998), Armageddon (1998) and The Martian (2015) will be personally training Sushant for the role. He will also make a space suit for his astronaut look in the film.

Sushant, before foraying into Bollywood, Sushant was into theatre. Now, he wishes to turn a few books into plays. Speaking about it, Sushant told, "Even if I get one day off in between my shoot schedules or promotions, I prefer to watch a play. I can always go back to doing plays because for me the medium isn’t important. I thoroughly enjoy acting in plays and that will never change."

Chanda Mama Door Ke also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan in key roles and is directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. The film is likely to release next year during the Republic Day weekend and might clash with Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee's Aiyaary and Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0.

In the science fiction movie, Sushant will be seen donning three different looks. Talking about it, the director Sanjay specified to a famous tabloid, "It’s a special film for the entire cast because it’s something which has never been explored before. Sushant will appear in a never-seen-before look in this movie, as he’s entering a very different space with this film. It will be a treat for his fans."

He further added, "I can’t reveal the looks right now because I will be giving away the concept of my film if I say anything more."

Sushant gets a specially designed spacesuit for Chanda Mama Door Ke!

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput is on roll these days as he will next be seen in Raabta and is also preparing hard for Chanda Mama Door Ke. In Chanda Mama Door Ke, Sushant is stepping into the shoes of an astronaut. It was previously reported that Sushant Singh will head to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

As per to a famous daily, a spacesuit has been specially designed for the actor by special effects director John Palmer. Sushant verified to a dialy, "Yes, John and Sanjay have been working on this beautiful suit and I can't wait to get into it. John will fly down to India soon and also meet me at NASA while I'll be there for the prep."

Sushant took to Twitter to share the photo of the spacesuit and posted, "Special Spacesuit designed by John Palmer of #Martian fame for Chandamama. Can't wait to get in it and start training @sanjaypchauhan."

John Palmer told, "I have designed the spacesuits for which I researched latest Russian and Chinese suit models, along with Indian designs from ISRO. I've gone through thousands of designs with Sanjay before selecting these which incorporate Indian elements that are not only aesthetically appealing but functional too. Going by Sushant's fitness level and dedication, he's definitely up for the difficult training."

"Sushant wants functionality over comfort. After special training from NASA and John's team of experts, he will be ready to fly to the moon," added John.

Sushant has time and again said that he wanted to be an air force pilot. Sushant told, "I wanted to be an astronaut but since I couldn't figure out how to pursue it, I decided I'd be an air force pilot instead. But my mother didn't want me to pursue these professions so I started studying engineering instead but even then I was hooked on astrophysics. But now I'm getting to live my dream with this film. I have been fascinated by the subject myself and really looking forward to the experience."

Speaking about his trip to NASA, Sushant said, "It'll be my first trip there and I'm waiting to experience zero gravity and 16 gravity."

R. Madhavan and Sushant Singh Rajput act together for Chanda Mama Door Ke!

After Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R. Madhavan is all set to star in Sushant Singh Rajput, Chanda Mama Door Ke.

When enquired about the role, Madhavan told to a famous tabloid, "This role will definitely require much prepping as we are doing it with a lot of authenticity."

"I can’t wait to see this film with my son. I’m sure he’ll be proud of me. It’s such an awesome story and a fantastic team... it’s cutting-edge," he further added.

As he will be playing a pilot in the film, he was asked if he is taking flying lessons. To this, he said, "Not really, we will be working on the simulators."

Sushant welcomed him politely with this tweet. His caption reads, "I've been your fan since a long time. Can't wait to start working with you bro. @ActorMadhavan. #chandamamadoorke".

Madhavan tweeted back to SSR and told, his caption reads, "Brotherrrrrrr the feeling is Mutual... you know I was blown by MSD .. cant wait for the Magic to start ...".
