in a high-speed road accident on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road (ORR). The
fatal collision, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 10, 2026,
also claimed the life of his close friend and collaborator, cinematographer G.
Sai Trilok.

The accident took place near Exit No. 12 (Bonguluru)
within the Adibatla police station limits as the duo was traveling toward
Hyderabad from their native Nellore district.
