My son Ayaan can’t see most of my films because of the censor ratings they have got, reveals Emraan Hashmi!

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Baadshaho as the gun blazer thug. The actor who is known to be a serial onscreen kisser in a chat with a tabloid disclosed that his son Ayaan hasn’t watched most of his movies. The actor is known for doing erotic thrillers.

When questioned why, the actor told,” He can’t. Censor rating for my films have mostly been A or U/A, so none of them were fit for him to watch in a theatre. He’s in that age where even a YouTube is on the restricted mode, so it’s not so easy for him to dig out and watch my films.”

However, he added that Mr X is the only film of his which got a U certificate and his son watched it in parts.

When questioned if he would like to do more films which his son can maybe see, the actor stated, “I’d love to do some of those. But I’m waiting for that kind of a script. I’d definitely want to do a film only for kids, but it has to be written well, and it has to be worth my time.”

Emraan Hashmi’s documentary film on cancer!

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who has penned in a book his struggle around his son Ayaan's cancer treatment, has now started working on a documentary on cancer.

He told the documentary is at its initial stage.

"Work on a docu on cancer has begun. It's in its initial stages. It's important to create awareness about the C word," Emraan posted on social media.

Born in February 2010, Ayaan, the first child of Emraan and wife Parveen Shahani, was diagnosed with first stage cancer at the age of four in early 2014.

To help raise awareness about the disease and share their story, Emraan came out with a book titled "The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer" last year. It chronicles his career, family, the birth of his son, cancer and treatment thereafter.

As per reports, the documentary is tentatively titled "The C Word".

That’s why the man who only just released a book chronicling his son Ayaan’s fight against the disease is now planning a full-fledged documentary on the subject. The project will look at both sides of cancer, and will focus on the various treatments available to beat the disease while also telling you how a change of lifestyle can help too. It’s interesting to see how a close brush with the disease has opened Emraan’s eyes to these things.
