No mobile phone signboard for Salman starrer Bharat’s shooting!

Famous actor-director Jodi Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are a successful combination as their films Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) were hit movies. Now, Salman and Ali have reunited third time for Bharat, and this time they brought along their lucky charm as well, Katrina Kaif. Along with the crackling pair, Bharat also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff as Salman's father, Disha Patani as Salman's sister and a trapeze artist, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi in key roles. 

Lately, there were some leaked photographs of Salman in his character's avatar that rapidly went viral. And now it seems as if team Bharat is taking all the obligatory precautions to avoid this from happening again, to maintain the privacy of the forthcoming movie. We received a viral photo which showed a notice board on the sets of Bharat. It read as, "Bharat, Reel Life Productions. No mobile phones allowed on site. No visitors allowed. Adapted from the Korean movie, Ode to My Father (2014), Bharat will see Salman in five different stages; from his teenage years to adulthood with Katrina essaying his love interest. Bharat also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi in key roles.

Anurag Basu denies any sequel story of Life.. In A Metro in his next?

Among the rumor surrounding his forthcoming movie, director Anurag Basu revealed it is not a sequel to his critically acclaimed movie "Life... In A Metro", released in 2007.

"I have nowhere mentioned that the movie that I am shooting now is a sequel of 'Life... In A Metro'. The only similarity is that there are four different stories in this movie as well," Basu revealed while intermingling with the media here after shooting in neighboring areas.

He told all the four stories are interweaved. Also, the movie is not at all like "Life... In A Metro" and neither is the previous story being carried forward.

Saira Banu denies Pneumonia rumours of Dilip Kumar!

Veteran megastar Dilip Kumar’s health has always been a matter of concern for his admirers. Lately, it was being reported that the veteran actor has been diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and is being treated at his residence. But, his wife, Saira Banu has disagreed to any such news and told that Dilip Kumar is suffering from regular fever.

In a media chat, Saira Banu told that “He is fine and is at home. Someone has started this rumour that he is having pneumonia, but there is no such thing. He is just having a regular cold and fever. He is at home and recovering.”

Dilip Kumar was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital in early October after he complained of a chest infection.

Never imagined playing Zafira would be difficult because of the hair, says Fatima Sana Shaikh on Thugs of Hindostan!

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has stepped into the shoes of a fearless warrior Zafira in Thugs of Hindostan. Going by the trailer, Zafira is fiery and spectacular. She is a really brilliant fighter and specialises in combat by bow and arrow. It may sound all exciting but it was challenging for Fatima. Not action scenes, but hair was the main challenge for the actress.

“I could have never imagined that playing Zafira’s role would be difficult because of the hair. Sitting for three hours every day in the morning before the shoot is quite a pain. Kudos to them because they imagined me so completely different,” Fatima revealed in a statement. Fatima’s look as Zafira became pretty popular but it wasn’t a cakewalk for the costume designers, Rushi and Manoshi. “Zafira was one of the most challenging characters for us. We found fabrics that we thought best described Zafira and then we got her to stand like a mannequin and draped and draped fabric for five to six hours,” Rushi and Manoshi revealed.

Film Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. The movie is set to hit the screens on November 8.

SRK to start shooting for the Rakesh Sharma biopic in 2019!

Film Saare Jahaan Se Achcha is being made on the living legend Rakesh Sharma. As per history, Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian national to enter space on April 2, 1984, when the astronaut flew aboard the Soviet rocket Soyuz T-11. Firstly, Aamir Khan was approached for the film but due to creative differences, the actor backed out. But, Aamir did suggest Shah Rukh Khan as his replacement. When it comes to the female lead, names like Priyanka Chopra and Bhumi Pednekar have popped up but no official confirmation has been made.

The Rakesh Sharma biopic was initially titled Salute but now has been tentatively changed to Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. In a media chat, producer Ronnie Screwvala finally disclosed when Shah Rukh will begin shooting for Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. "We are doing that film with Shah Rukh Khan. We should begin it by February or March next year, but we haven’t announced the female lead yet," Ronnie revealed to a media source.

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, who received the Youth Icon of the Year honour at an event here from her father for the first time, told he was best suited for the title.

Alia was at the Vogue Women of the Year event here on Saturday night. Filmmaker Karan Johar was the host for the all-star night, read a statement.

On getting the award, the "Student Of The Year" revealed, "This is the first time my father is presenting an award to me. What's most special tonight is the fact that my father is standing right next to me, way past his bedtime. Let me tell you that he sleeps at 9 p.m. and wakes up at 5 a.m. and goes and does Pilates and cardio. I don't think that I'm the Youth Icon of the Year. My father is the Youth Icon of the Year."

Recently, it has been stated that the actress has said no to the movie. A close source disclosed, “Aishwarya has turned down Jasmine. There were several loopholes in the script. Although Siddharth and Garima’s basic idea was strong, there were many problems with the story, which the actress had reportedly pointed out to the writer duo. After the corrections, they approached her with a fresh script, but Ash still felt she couldn’t relate to it. So, she politely informed the team that she won’t be able to do the film anymore.”

Rajkummar Rao has given us all the reasons to applause him through his depiction of different sort of characters with such brilliance. From Trapped to essaying the role of Subash Chandra Bose, Rajkummar has progressed in terms of his career.

In a media chat, Rajkummar Rao tells no one has offered him an out-and-out action movie yet. But he has begun to learn Taekwondo at an early age and he hopes that soon he gets to showcase this side of his acting skills too. “Not many people know about this interest of mine in doing action, also somebody has to take that risk. Nobody can imagine me doing action, I hope someone casts me in an action film," Rajkummar Rao revealed.

Rajkummar also added that he has also learnt dancing with martial arts before he finally got into acting. "I am glad I learned dance as it helped me in my acting. It helps you understand rhythm and beat. . Someday I will do a film that will be able to showcase this side of me," he told.

Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No 1 with own banner?

Bollywood’s dynamic actor Varun Dhawan’s brother Rohit Dhawan is turning producer and the Dhawans are beginning their own production house. Varun Dhawan had previously shared that things are still in process but they are definitely thinking of producing movies. They have seemingly named their production house No 1 Entertainment.

Now, as per a tabloid, their first project will be a David Dhawan directorial and Varun Dhawan will star in it. David Dhawan will be remaking Coolie No 1. The original movie stars Govinda and Karisma Kapoor and released in 1995. The movie was a hit.

David Dhawan has directed son Varun in two films, Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. Both the movies set the cash registers ringing. The No 1 series film is expected to go on floors in 2019. The film will be an out and out comedy. There were reports that Sara Ali Khan has been signed as the female lead. As per source, David Dhawan is still working on the script and only after the screenplay is locked, they will approach an actress.

Aamir Khan who is all geared up for his next big release, Thugs Of Hindostan also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead, lately met a top official from China’s film regulator to discuss cooperation between India and China in making films. 

The Information Office of China's State Council pronounced the actor’s meeting with Wang Xiaohui, Executive Vice Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director General of the State Film Administration on Tuesday.

The meeting was held on Friday. While discussing the development of Chinese films, Wang said that he hoped China and India could strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation, share excellent films, carry out in-depth cooperation in making films and encourage filmmakers of both sides to produce more quality films.

As per reports, Aamir’s Chinese fans would fly down to India to watch his multi-starrer film as Indian films get a delayed release in China.

Sunny Leone starrer Veeramadevi to face protests like Padmaavat!

Sunny Leone is in news nowadays due to her next film Veeramadevi. Recently, Pro-Kannada activists protested against the casting of Sunny Leone in a multi-lingual movie Veeramadevi. Kannada Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene alleged that casting Sunny in the movie was an insult to a historical figure and warned of a Padmaavat like protest if she was not replaced. 

The group’s youth wing president R Harish told it was not right to have Sunny Leone essay a historical character, who had supported the cause of Hindus. “Leone is popular as a porn star and such a person should not play a historical character, who is not only an icon of Kannada but also someone who built many temples,” he told. He further added that Veeramadevi had built many temples in Karnataka and it would hurt religious sentiments of people if Sunny played the role. The activists have also vowed that they will create issues in the show in Bengaluru on November 3.

Rana Daggubati to play Nana Patekar’s part in Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4?

As per report, now Rana Daggubati will replace the veteran Nana Patekar. While the director of the movie, Sajid Khan has been replaced with Farhad Samji, who directed the third film of the Housefull franchise, uncertainty lies over Nana’s role. Reports have also emerged that Nana Patekar's portions shot in Jaisalmer are very integral and won't be clipped.

But, the producer of the movie, Sajid Nadiadwala nor the director have come out with an official statement. As per reports in media, an industry source has disclosed that “Interestingly, the name of Rana came as a sudden choice. Rana’s name sounds like Nana, and then the makers decided to ask the south actor if he was keen on working in the movie and whether he would have the dates for the same. While Rana seems to have agreed, the paperwork and other details are being worked out at the moment and an official pronouncement will come soon.” It is being said that Rana will join the team of Housefull 4 in the coming week.

As per reports, the movie which was previously rumoured to be called Salute, is now going to be called Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. The movie is being produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur’s new production house, Roy Kapur Films’ that is presently producing Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra Starrer The Sky is Pink. The movie will depict the life of the Indian Astronaut Rakesh Sharma, who was the first Indian to head into outer space. Though no official reason has been sited behind calling the film Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, it is a fact that when Indira Gandhi asked Rakesh Sharma how India looked from outer space on his return, he responded 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha'. Thus, this might be one of the reasons behind naming the movie with this statement made by the astronaut.

She's tailor-made for the royal role, says Priyanka Chopra for friend Meghan Markle!

Real life close buddies Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle's friendship flourished when the two starred in Quantico and Suits, respectively. Since then, the two share a warm equation with Priyanka even attending Meghan's royal marriage to Prince Harry, in May 2018. Lately, it was pronounced that Meghan and Harry were expecting their first child in the Spring of 2019.

In a latest chat with media, Priyanka was all admirations for the Duchess of Sussex and specified that Meghan was tailor-made for the royal family. "I just think she just fits right into the role that she has taken upon herself from the time she got married...How incredible they both are is just a testament of exactly how she's tailor-made for this...I'm just super proud and happy for her," Priyanka revealed.
