KGF star Yash in China for his farmhouse!

Kannada star Yash is hectic with the shooting of his forthcoming movie KGF: Chapter 2. The shooting of the movie kick-started a few months ago.

Recently, Yash has made a sudden trip to China for some personal work. He is presently in China for his farmhouse shopping and will return on December 21, a source close to the actor disclosed to a media source. Yash will return on December 21 for the launch of the first look of KGF: Chapter 2.

Is Thugs of Hindostan going to release in China?

Superstar Aamir Khan has a huge fan following in China who just wait for his movies to release over there. Aamir Khan lately met a top official from China’s movie regulator and discussed the release of his next movie, Thugs Of Hindostan in China apart from other dialogs on the exchange of cultural ties between the two countries.

Aamir Khan is quite famous in China owing to his flicks like Three Idiots, Secret Superstars and Dangal, which had received good response in China. Aamir Khan who is all geared up for his next big release, Thugs Of Hindostan also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead, lately met a top official from China’s film regulator to discuss cooperation between India and China in making films. 

The Information Office of China's State Council pronounced the actor’s meeting with Wang Xiaohui, Executive Vice Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director General of the State Film Administration on Tuesday.

The meeting was held on Friday. While discussing the development of Chinese films, Wang said that he hoped China and India could strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation, share excellent films, carry out in-depth cooperation in making films and encourage filmmakers of both sides to produce more quality films.

As per reports, Aamir’s Chinese fans would fly down to India to watch his multi-starrer film as Indian films get a delayed release in China.

Film 'Toilet Hero' in China

Film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is going to be released in the Mandarin language for the Chinese viewers on June 8, 2018, under the name Toilet Hero. It would be released by Anil Ambani's Reliance Entertainment.

Toilet Hero will release in China across 4300 screens, 50 percent higher screen count compared to its original release in India.

Reliance Entertainment will return to the Chinese market after 7 years with Toilet Hero. The last time, it had released 3 Idiots in China in 2011.

Sharing the Chinese-version poster of the movie, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Delighted that our film Toilet Ek Prem Katha is continuing to break new grounds and is all set to release as “Toilet Hero” across 4300 screens in China on 8th June.”

Salman Khan sees Indian Cinema’s potential in China!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is not only acting but also looking after the business part of his forthcoming movie "Race 3", tells China is opening up as a good market for Indian cinema.

During a media chat here, he was questioned if as a producer and distributor of the movie, he thinks China is a potential market.

Salman revealed, "China is a good market for our cinema. We have released 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. We are releasing 'Sultan' in China and we will release 'Race 3' also."

"I think we need to increase our number of theatres. Right now, we are still surviving on around 5,000 screens where China has extended to more than 40,000 screens. So, I think once our screen number increases, we will be able to have such business.  With the small number of screens, we are actually doing exceptionally well. So, just imagine, if within 10 to 15 years, we increase the number, we will do great," he further added.
