Tahira Kashyap calls her ‘soulmate’ to birthday boy Ayushmann Khurrana!

Yesterday on 14 September was the birthday of AyushmannKhurrana, who played Ayush in Dream Girl 2. As he celebrates turning 39 on September 14th, he has been receiving birthday wishes from his followers on social media. Along with his fans, Shilpa Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, and other actors shared supportive messages for the actor on social media. To make his birthday even more memorable, Ayushmann's wife TahiraKashyap shared some adorable pictures of them together on Instagram along with a touching message.

On Thursday, Tahira and Ayushmann exchanged several pictures. Posing tenderly alongside each other while dressed in cultural clothing, they both look stunning. Tahira may be seen giving her hubby a tender kiss while he beams a smile. Tahira is wearing a saree with rainbow-colored patterns, and Ayushmann looks dapper in a black kurta-pyjama. In the caption of the image of her "soulmate," Tahira stated that Ayyushmann is the only one for whom she can dance until four in the morning, demonstrating her love for him. She referred to herself as his "lover girl" and said that no one could compare to him.

Ayushmann sent a message on Tahira's blog, thanking her for making his birthday so special. "Thank you for making this birthday so special, you khoobsoorat soul," he wrote, along with a heart emoji. "Couple Goals and best party hosts," wrote Neeti Mohan, while Divya Dutta commented, "Adorable."

Tahira Kashyap’s takes over Ayushmann’s wardrobe!

Due to the lockdown, Ayushmann Khurrana has been using this quarantine period to spend some quality time with his family which the actor misses due to his busy schedules.

Recently, Ayushmann’s wife Tahira shared a collage of her and Ayushmann where the two were donning similar jackets and it looks like she has taken over the latter's wardrobe. In photo, it seems that Tahira has for surely loved this quirky jacket of husband and hence decided to wear it in her own stylish way. The jacket was black in colour white prints of CDs on it. Tahira too wore a black tee inside the jacket and paired up her look with cool sunglasses just like the actor. Sharing the photo, Tahira posted, "We believe in gender fluidity (with a heart emoji)" Sharing Tahira's story on his account, Ayushmann wrote, "Umm..."

Recently, Ayushmann’s wife Tahira has shared a cute caricature with Ayushmann on her Instagram story. In the cartoon image posted, Ayushmann is donning a beige coloured t-shirt with a matching jacket and brown pants while Tahira is wearing a purple coloured full sleeve top and a cute skirt. While Ayushmann is wearing a sling bag across his shoulder with one hand in his pocket, Tahira who is holding a white purse is standing sideways while getting cozy with Ayushmann. The cartoon image is too pretty.

Ayushmann and wife Tahira’s helping hand for a NGO amid lockdown!

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap have come out in support of women ragpickers in New Delhi amid lockdown due to Coronavirus outbreak.

Both have for years supported a non-profit organisation in Delhi named Gulmeher, a women's collective of waste-pickers turned artisans. The NGO works with about 200 women ragpickers and this donation will help them look after themselves and their families.

"Coronavirus has impacted people from every strata of life. But it has hit the lower income groups the hardest and it is our duty as citizens of this nation to come forward and support the people in dire need. Tahira and I have been associated with Gulmeher, a non-profit organization, for years and we are doing every bit possible to support these women who are absolutely distraught now," told Ayushmann.

"Along with donating for PM-CARES, we are also doing our small bit to take care of these incredible women of Gulmeher," he told.

"While us Indians are impacted with COVID-19, for some people the impact will be much more destabilising, especially economically. We have to protect the lower-income, daily wage earning community like our brothers and sisters in this time of crisis.", said Tahira!

Tahira Kashyap’s happiness for hubby Ayushmann’s kissing scene with a man!

Numerous wives of Bollywood celebs have often expressed uneasiness about their partners’ kissing their heroines on screen. However, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife and director Tahira Kashyap, tells she not only does not mind but is fine with seeing him kiss a man or woman on screen. In Ayushmann’s next release, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, spinning around same-sex relationships, the actor will be seen kissing his male co-star and romantic lead Jitendra Kumar.

When questioned about her reaction to her hubby kissing a man, Tahira reveals, “I was delighted to see Ayushmann kissing a guy on screen! Honestly, now I view it from the perspective of respecting an artist and his work – so whether he kisses a man or woman, I am seeing the emotion of the character. When he kisses a girl, I can see that the man is in love with her and this is what he needs to do to show love. I would make my characters in my movies do the same. And now if he is kissing a man that’s the most natural thing for him to do because he is gay and that’s his way of expressing love.”

She further revealed, “Who am I to judge? My perspective of watching him on screen is surely from the perspective of what he as a character should be doing and in Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan this is what he should do because he is in love with the boy. What else do you do when you are in love?”

Tahira had shared this on her story and tagged Ayushmann telling "About time you stay in Mumbai. This is the little one's recall value of you." Ayushmann's wife Tahira Kashyap to direct Madhuri Dixit in her debut film!

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap had been in headlines ever since she declared that she has cancer. She has been recuperating well and is planning to join the film industry as a director. The movie is a slice-of-life flick and is ready to hit the floors. As per a report, Madhuri Dixit has been finalized for the role of the lead in the movie. The yet-to-be-titled project is a women-centric story and Madhuri fits the bill perfectly.

As per news, Madhuri, who was last seen in the Marathi movie Bucket List, has signed the movie. A source close to the development disclosed that she will essay the role of a mother in the movie. "Her character is something that she has not attempted before. The actress to play her daughter will be soon finalized as well," revealed the source.

While speaking about her directorial debut, Tahira Kashyap in a statement revealed, "I am delighted to be working with such incredible partners to bring a take on urban existence to the big screen. It feels surreal that something I had dreamt of for the longest, is finally happening. I’ve been writing screenplays for five years. It wasn’t an easy ride for me. I’m glad that Ellipsis believed in me, and together with T-Series, has given me a platform to breathe life into my script. I am truly excited about this new phase in my life and career."

Previously, Tahira Kashyap took to social media and made a shocking disclosure about her health as she informed everybody that she was suffering from Breast Cancer. In a long post, Tahira revealed, “The picture might be disturbing for some, but these drains have become my dumbells for a few days. I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/ pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. The result I have become a half Indian version of Angelina Jolie (since only one breast was involved)!”

Ayushmann’s wife is gearing up to direct her first feature movie. In addition a housewife, Tahira Kashyap is a theatre writer-director, author, teacher and programming head of a radio station up North.

A delighted hubby, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote on social media telling, “From writing books, plays, directing theatre productions to making a feature film now. So proud of u @tahira_k. The first step towards your dream. You have written a wonderful script and you are backed by the most credible people…..” 

Earlier, Tahira had directed a short movie titled Toffee, which was produced by Ayushmann himself.

In a chat with a daily, Tahira revealed, “I am delighted to be working with such incredible partners to bring a take on urban existence to the big screen. If feels surreal that something I had dreamt of for the longest time, is finally happening. I’ve been writing screenplays for five years. It wasn’t an easy ride for me. I’m glad that Ellipsis believed in me, and together with T-series, has given me a platform to breathe life into my script. I am truly excited about this new phase in my life and career.”

The yet-untitled movie is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar. While the casting of the movie is in progress, and the feature movie will go under production next year.

Ayushmann dons a new hat!

Ayushmann Khurrana is up for the award of husband of the year after he turned producer so he could back his wife Tahira Kashyap’s directorial debut.

The actor will co-produce the short film titled Toffee along with the casting guru Mukesh Chhabra. Ayushmann was blown away by the script Tahira had penned about two pre-teen girls who chase a conspiracy theory that was popular in Punjab during the 90s, and he wanted people to see it. Let’s see if Tahira’s story impresses the rest of us too.
