Asin Thottumkal is celebrating her 33^rd birthday today. Born in Kerala, Asin Thottumkal began her acting career at the age of 15 with a Malayalam film called Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001.

Her first Bollywood movie was Ghajini opposite none other than Aamir Khan. In 2015, she got wedded to Rahul Sharma who is the co-owner of famous mobile company Micromax. Post her wedding she left her acting career. She is a trained Bharatanatyam and Kathakali dancer. Before entering movies, Asin was a part-time model and a businesswoman.

Actress Asin and Rahul Sharma become parents with a baby girl!

Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal and husband Rahul Sharma were lately blessed with a baby girl. This news absolutely comes as surprise as Asin didn't make any public appearance with her baby bump. Asin has kept her personal life quite guarded post marriage to Rahul Sharma.

An official statement from the duo reads, “We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support."

Asin and Rahul tied the nuptial knot on 19 January 2016. The marriage was held at the Dusit Devarana resort in New Delhi. Akshay, who is close to the couple, attended the wedding as well.

Actress Asin newly tied the knot with the co-founder of Micromax, Rahul Sharma and the latter's first tweet post wedding will certainly melt your heart.

Rahul posted a black and white picture on Twitter, which shows him embracing his wife, and along with that he posted, “Holding MY WORLD in my arms!!!”.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar had played cupid for the newly married couple and he also attended their marriage.

Actress Asin wedded with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in New Delhi, on Tuesday. The couple exchanged vows in two private ceremonies – a church wedding which was followed by Hindu ceremonies. Asin's Housefull 2 co-star Akshay Kumar, who had also introduced the couple to each other, served as the groom's best man.

For her church marriage, Asin wore a white gown and looked gorgeous in it while her beau looked dapper in his black suit. Delhi-based band, Elohim Worship Band performed at their white marriage. The Hindu rituals were performed in the evening and the groom arrived in an open car with the baaraat. Their marriage ceremonies were held at Dusit Devarana Resort, New Delhi amid tight security and only family members and close friends were invited to the do.
