Ayushmann Khurrana to celebrate World Siblings Day by sharing a pic with brother Aparshakti!

The World Siblings Day is celebrated on April 10 every year to commemorate the special bond. On this occasion, our celebs shared the throwback pics with their siblings expressing their undying love for each other.

On his social media account, Ayushmann Khurrana posted a throwback pic with his brother Aparshakti Khurrana along with a quirky note. Sharing the pic, Ayushmann wrote, “ खाते पीते पंजाबी घर के चंडीगढ़ के लड़के। सिरे दे फुक्रे। We were some 8 kgs heavier and 8 times more stupid. #WorldSiblingDay @aparshakti_khurana.” In the pic, both the brothers looked dapper posing together. While the Bala star can be seen dressed in a black jacket with stylish sunnies, Aparshakti opted for a white outfit. The Dangal star also reposted his brother’s post on his handle.

On the film front, Ayushmann Khurrana has begun the prep for his forthcoming movie Doctor G with Rakul Preet Singh.

Aparshakti Khurrana has bagged a second movie as the male lead!

The guy who’s built a reputation as a solid supporting actor with hits like Dangal and Stree already has Satram Ramani’s Helmet in the bag. Now he’s also signed on to romance Taapsee Pannu in Rashmi Rocket! The Akarsh Khurrana-directed sports drama will tell the fictitious tale of a sprinter from Gujarat who beats the odds to literally chase her dream. Aparshakti Khurrana to romance Pranutan Bahl first time!

For months’ critics have been lamenting how Aparshakti Khurrana is too talented to only play second-fiddle roles.

Now Dino Morea has heard their pleas! The model-turned-actor-turned-producer has cast Ayushmann’s chhota bhai as the lead in a new social satire called Helmets. Aparshakti will romance Pranutan Bahl in the small-town story that’ll be helmed by the debutant Satram Ramani. Let’s hope Aparshakti makes the most of this opportunity!

Ayushmann Khurrana’s blissful moments with wife Tahira and brother Aparshakti!

Recently, Aparshakti Khurana shared a photo with his brother and bhabhi and it absolutely melted our hearts. In this photo, Tahira Kashyap is happily snuggled between her husband and brother-in-law and while Ayushmann is seen planting a kiss on wifey’s cheek, Aparshakti Khurana is planting a kiss on bhabhi’s forehead.

Previously, Tahira Kashyap took to social media and made a shocking disclosure about her health as she informed everybody that she was suffering from Breast Cancer. In a long post, Tahira revealed, “The picture might be disturbing for some, but these drains have become my dumbells for a few days. I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/ pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. The result I have become a half Indian version of Angelina Jolie (since only one breast was involved)!”

Aparshakti to replace brother Ayushmann in Happy Bhaag Jayegi sequel!

Ayushmann Khurrana has been replaced by brother Aparshakti Khurrana in Happy Bhaag Jayegi sequel titled as Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns. As stated by a tabloid, Ayushmann was offered to essay the lead role in the sequel. But, due to date issues, Ayushmann said no to the offer.

Hence, the makers roped in his brother to essay the male lead.

A source revealed, "Aparshakti is doing the Happy Bhaag Jayegi sequel now. He is doing the bhajan based reality show, Om Shanti Om, as well, so he has worked his dates out in a way that he can shoot Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns without causing any delay."

The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty in lead roles. The film has already gone on floors last month.

A source revealed the daily that Ayushmann had no role in letting the role go to his brother. The source specified, "It wasn’t an instant call. But everyone was keen on Ayushmann. And Aparshakti also brings the same energy to the character. So they offered him the role. Ayushmann didn’t refer his brother at all. It was a call that the producers took themselves. Aparshakti will soon begin shooting his portions for the comedy film."

Presently, Ayushmann is working on Sriram Raghavan’s thriller, Shoot The Piano Player which will see the actor play a visually challenged pianist.
