Vishal Bhardwaj had teamed up with Shahid Kapoor for the
first time to make Kaminey, a crime thriller revolving around a pair of twins
and as the movie was a major hit, fans of the filmmaker have been asking for a
sequel.
But, Vishal told in an interview that he will never make
Kaminey 2 as he doesn't like to repeat his characters and also because he wants
to grow as a filmmaker and not just make a sequel to cash in on the fame of the
prequel and earn money. Kaminey had starred Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles
along with Priyanka Chopra, Amol Gupte and others.
Vishal and Shahid will team up once more for Rangoon, which
also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.
