Nana Patekar, who brought a lump to everybody's throats with
his intense role in Marathi movie Natsamrat, has agreed to star in the
Bollywood remake of South film Salt And Pepper, which had starred Prakash Raj
in the lead role.
Remarkably, Raj, who had directed the original movie, will
be making his Bollywood directorial debut with this movie. Confirming the same,
Raj told that he chose Nana for the lead role as he is a superb actor and that
they bond over cinema, cooking and theatre. Nana will be seen romancing Shriya
Saran in the film, which will be shot in Goa and also star Ali Fazal and
Taapsee Pannu.
Nana recently lent his voice to the villainous tiger Shere
Khan in The Jungle Book.
