After lengthy Twitter battles between directors Anurag
Kashyap and his one-time mentor and collaborator Ram Gopal Varma in the past,
Ramu told that he loves Anurag, but Anurag hates him.
Kashyap and Varma have worked together in many movies
including the cult ‘Satya’ but they later fell out.
The war of words restarted after the release of Varma’s
Hindi comeback movie ‘Veerappan’ coincided with Kashyap’s directorial ‘Raman
Raghav 2.0’ on May 27.
During the trailer launch of ‘Veerappan’, Ramu was poked
about his alleged rivalry with the ‘Bombay Velvet’ director by media persons.
He told, “I never have cold war, I have only hot war... We have a bond. I love
him, he hates me.” The maverick director added that he liked some of Kashyap’s movies
including the first instalment of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
The newest film by RGV will capture life of the Sandalwood
bandit, Veerappan.
