Irrfan Khan, who has a huge fan following across the world, has lent his voice to Baloo in the Hindi version of the recently released Hollywood movie The Jungle Book and he has given his own twist to the character.

Irrfan decided to give his Baloo a Punjabi tadka to strike a chord with the Indian viewers and people are going gaga over his endearing character.

A close source to Irrfan revealed, "Trying to find the right chord for the big fat Baloo, the bear, Irrfan wanted someone resembling from Indian ethos and what would be more befitting but Punjabis, who are known for their big hearts. Mayur Puri, the writer of the Hindi Jungle Book, a Punjabi himself, loved the idea which Irrfan gave and we now have a Baloo, who is winning hearts by using terms like "Puttar" and "Thand Rakh".''
