Priyanka Chopra gets the Padma Shri Award from President of India!




Priyanka Chopra, who is now an international star, received India's third highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri on Tuesday, from President Pranab Mukherjee, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Priyanka went to receive the award in her traditional saree avatar, clad in a lime green sari, which she accessorized with pearl and gold jewellery. Priyanka Chopra completes thirteen years in the industry in 2016 and she was awarded for her contribution towards the Indian film industry.


The Bajirao Mastani star is currently busy with her American TV show Quantico and will mark her Hollywood debut with Baywatch, which also stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
